From the outside looking in, people probably think you have help because DD is still at home. I know she works, but she’ll either have to pitch in more to help, or you will have to moan loudly to everyone that she does NOTHING to help. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I tend to discount DD for help as she's never around at the times I need it. She has a lot of MH issues plus epilepsy but she is also very lazy like her dad. I fear I'll always have her living with me as she just wouldn't cope in the outside world. She only goes out of the house to go to work and then it's a taxi both ways. Where she works have been very good and they let her do behind the scenes work rather than out in the shop. Other people don't know the situation, so you're right Lucky, they'll see her as a source of help. But she should help a bit, I know that.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Sorry about the plaster cover leaking SA. I think you might have to stick to showers until it is off. I would be careful about the damp insides as you don’t want to get any plaster sores. Think of wrinkly skin when you have had a sticking plaster on your finger. May be best to ring to see if it can be changed.Total weight lost 6.5/73lbs starting yet again. Afds August 10/15. /8 Sept.0

I’ve had several below knee plasters with broken ankles and metatarsals - can’t remember if it’s 4 or 5 times....I put a bin liner around the plaster and scoot down the bath a bit with my plaster up between or at the side of my taps depending on the bath we had at the time. I have handles on the side of my bath and manage to lie down and pull myself to sit in the water. I get in the bath empty of water - fill it once in - leave a towel within reach - empty the water when finished put towel in bath to stand up on with good leg. I’ve mastered this technique having done it in my teenage years. I last did it about 8 years ago - just need to be careful not to slip and probably wouldn’t pass any health and safety inspections but I can’t do without my bath - I have struggled to have a bath once spinal bleed started to improve and after major tummy surgeries and through my arm surgeries too. I feel your pain not being able to have a bath.January spends - £587.580

Gosh you've been through the mill a bit Milann to say the least. Well done on getting through all that.
Had a quiet day today, watched my favourite version of Christmas Carol with George C Scott as Scrooge, can still hear my mum moaning about an American playing Scrooge even though she was half American herself LOL. The other half of her was Welsh by the wayPainted my nails, read my book, listened to the radio and generally relaxed.
Ordered some supplies from WW website in case I can't get to the workshop for a while. Glad to find you no longer have to spend £60 to get free P&P. Disappointed that I've been unable to find anything in the sales online in my size, only seem to be big sizes left.
DD came home from work in a foul mood moaning about the dog or cat knocking the bin over in her room. Let her get on with it and steered clear.
Not at the hairdressers until 3pm tomorrow so the plan is to make a start on decluttering one of the cupboards of doom.

That's Monday done
Borrowed Mr SA's scooter to have my hair done. It felt weird being out and I felt a bit overwhelmed at first having to go over what happened again.
It's been such a beautiful sunny day here today and such a shame to be trapped indoors, it was lovely to get out in the fresh air if only for a very short time.
DS is coming on Saturday to give me a lift to the vets as the dog is desperate for her flea stuff and her 6 monthly check is due. Mr SA is disappointed as there won't be room for him in the car, he's only thinking about the Costa near there!!!
Payday tomorrow :j Going out for lunch once the Mr M shop has been delivered, looking forward to it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
