Yes have a fab lunch with your friends tomorrow. It'll will be great to get out of the house. :)

The insurance is an excellent price for both of you, especially taking into account Mr SA's medical condition. I pay more each year for mine - though that's probably due to my high BP and age!:(

  • That's a great price! My mum went to the US for two weeks last year, and because she has a heart condition the travel insurance cost her $US800. Unbelievable.

    Morning :)

I think the insurance is low as we only go to Spain. I think it would be a lot different if we went further afield. Plus as it's over 5 years since he last had treatment he's classed as cured in their eyes. My biggest worry is that he'll fall which is why I make sure he's covered for physical disability. I could've got it cheaper but wanted decent cover, there were quite a few a lot dearer too.

Mr SA has had a relapse in the night :( He switched the TV on at 1am to take his mind off feeling sick so I haven't had much sleep. I'm still full of cold but ok to go out for lunch. Where Mr SA has got this bug from I don't know as neither of us has been anywhere. We went to our local pub on NYE but it was empty.

Anyway must make a move as I need to be ready just after 11 to get a taxi as meeting my friends at 11.30.

SA is leaving the building :j

Hope you enjoyed your time out today, and that Mr SA is feeling a bit better... hopefully enough that you get a decent nights sleep anyway. (((hugs)))

Had a lovely lunch with my friends :) Was so good to get out. Cost me the best part of £40 including taxis but it is what it is, can't put a price on having a good time. Mr SA moaning about the cost told him it came out of my bonus so not an issue and nothing to do with him. £15 of this was for taxis and unfortunately no choice but to pay out for them at the moment. We were there for 4 hours and had a good chinwag. I had a lovely quinoa burger and sweet potato fries.

Mr SA still off and is back on the flat cola and toast tonight. On the plus side at least we're saving on his food and beer :rotfl:

DS and the GKs coming again tomorrow as his OH is having her hair done at the hairdressers at the end of our road. Have a few jobs for him to do :)
