Just watching a bit of TV before heading off to bed early. Got loads of washing dry today before it started to rain. Not looking forward to getting up so early but has to be done. Dog and cat sulking I think they’ve realised we’re going away. DD will look after them but not as well as we do.
Used up loads of leftover veg for my evening meal, a right concoction but was quite nice.
So ready for a break, bring it on :jI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Hola from a very hot and sunny Lanzarote
Just popping in while I'm waiting for it to get light and can get on the rubbish hotel wi fi. Having a lovely time, weather is fab, done lots of walking, planning on putting my feet up more for the last 3 days though. Mr SA hasn't bought a fishing rod thankfully.
Hope everyone is ok xxI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Morning all
Thought we were doing well no mishaps this holiday, Mr SA went for the hat trick yesterday. First of all he didn't make to the toilet in time so I had that to clean up, then he managed to flood the hotel room, the cleaner had to bring loads of towels to mop it up we were literally paddling in it. His finale was to get himself locked in the men's toilets by the pool and have to be rescued by the maintenance man, took him ages to get him out. I told him to wait in the pool bar for me while I took some shopping back to the room, he'd gone when I got back. I spent ages looking for him all round the hotel, I knew he couldn't have gone far as his scooter was still in reception. He'd been in the lift getting out on wrong floors, just going up and down!
Apart from that everything is fine :rotfl:I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Back home safe and sound. Don’t reckon much to the weather here
Dog and cat pleased to see us. The dog went mad, DD had to bring her outside to meet us from the taxi.
Just had a relaxing soak in the bath which was heaven. Waiting for a Mr M delivery then will have to cook dinner. Will sleep well tonight for sure.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
