Well here we are back at Sunday night :(

Went back for a second round of Insanity this morning, enjoyed it, Mr SA went swimming at the same time. The lifeguard suggested he has some swimming lessons

Put 1.5lbs on at WW but as I don't think I should've lost 2lbs last week, I think this is fair. Still 2.5lbs under goal. Weird though as I was really good last week, the week before I over-indulged. You can't win.

Have booked in for Kettlefit Thursday when I'm working from home, Zumba on Friday and Insanity next Sunday - I will crack it :rotfl: Pilates at work is back on Wednesday so looking forward to that. I know it's not normal to look forward to exercise :rotfl:

Tomorrow I'm having a late in work day, going for a coffee first then I need to pick up some cotton wool pads from Primani. I also really need some new trainers for the classes, the ones I'm wearing now have had it.

Only 10 more working days to holiday, I'm flagging now.

Have a good week folks :)

    That’s Monday done :)

Went for a coffee before work this morning and had a look round Primani - best time to go is when it opens at 8am.

The Carers Hub rang me today. I must say they’ve been brilliant keeping in touch asking if I need any help. I said I was loving the gym membership and they said they might be able to extend it for another 3 months if it’s doing me good :j Made the mistake of mentioning it to Mr SA and he said it’s not fair - I’m not a carer as I go to work and abandon him. Apparently I don’t do anything for him!! Words fail me!!

A new shop has opened up on my route home from work that sells all sorts of spices/ingredients etc. Popped in for a nosy and it will be a fab place to buy unusual things for my recipes :) It’s quite cheap too. It’s mainly Indian stuff but sells West Indian and Chinese too. I get through lentils like wildfire and they sell huge bags of it.

Used up some veg sausages that had been in the freezer ages for tonight’s dinner, and roasted some swede, sweet potato, carrots and beetroot to go with them. Also roasted a load of veg from the fridge to be turned into a lasagne tomorrow. On a mission to use up freezer/cupboard/fridge contents.

Forgot to add I’m aching in random parts today after yesterday’s Insanity - feel like I’ve been kicked in the butt :rotfl:

    .

Words fail me too re. Mr SA! You might want to mention to him that if you didn't work and 'abandon' him, he wouldn't be able to fund his pester list!

Good news though that you might be able to extend the gym membership!:j

Do you think Mr SA will carry on with the swimming?

    That’s Tuesday done :)

SSG he wants to keep going with swimming. I said I would look into lessons for him when we get back from holiday.

Manically busy at work today, the day flew by. Got some bargain reduced meat for Mr SA this lunchtime from Mr S, all bagged up and in the freezer :)

Made a huge veg lasagne for me, made 6 portions - one tonight with some salad, the rest has gone in the freezer.

Pilates at work starts back up again tomorrow, no doubt will ache after that as it finished for the summer in July.

  • Hope your random parts are less achy today :D. Excellent that you might be able to keep the classes going for longer.

Perhaps you should stop ‘Caring’ for Mr SA, so he sees how much yiu actually do! No cooking, cleaning, shopping, washing, ironing, beer buying etc etc Xx

I have a feeling that he would just feel terribly hard-done by lucky and wouldn't understand why SA would treat him so dreadfully! Poor me syndrome!

Hope your Saturday is going well SA.

Well done with the exercise classes. Not too many sleeps until you get away now. A well deserved holiday :T

And here we are back to Sunday  The week has gone by in a flash!

Not a lot to report, got my suitcase out today and put a few bits in it. Finally got Mr SA a suitcase he likes and is easy for me to manage. Only 8 days to holiday now :)

Don’t ask about finances, working on a better plan that should be easier to stick to.

Stayed the same at WW, still 2.5lbs under goal. Did Pilates on Wednesday, tried Kettlefit on Thursday, which I loved, and Insanity this morning. I’m starting to feel a lot more toned which is what I’m aiming for. Trying the spin class on Tuesday when I work from home.

Trying to buy as little food as possible this week, using up freezer and cupboard stocks. We’ve got plenty in.

Mr SA swam a whole length this morning which he’s really pleased with. He doesn’t want swimming lessons now, he’s going to keep practising.

Hope everyone is tickety boo, will catch up with diaries later xx

  • Well done Mr SA on his swim!:j It sounds like he enjoyed himself so it'll be great if he makes it a regular habit. It will be so good for him as well. And you must be mega fit and trim now with all your classes!

    Not long till the holiday................:)
