Ooh might look into the window vac dawnybabes, I love gadgets if they save time.

Whole house has been cleaned to within an inch of its life, including the windows :) 5 loads of washing done, dried and ironed :) Finances done, meal plan done, Lidl shop done :)

    Been a productive day :)

Scores on the doors at the end of June:
Emergency fund £3279.57 - still a long long way to go to hit target of £10k but working towards it now
VSP £351.44 - target was £350 by end June so smashed it :j
    Monthly Saver £250 :)

Meal plan for the week ahead:
Tonight - salmon, jersey royals and veg (simple dinner tonight)
Monday - veg chilli and potato wedges
    Tuesday - Stir fry
Wednesday - Scampi, butternut squash wedges and veg
Thursday - pulled jackfruit burger and swede chips (not tried jackfruit before, have been assured it's lovely)
    Friday - Caribbean salmon bowl
Saturday - aubergine & tomato curry

Soup for work lunches - smoky borlotti bean

Will start on working on the job application tomorrow, cut off date is 10 July so a few days yet.

Very busy you have been SA , the soup sounds lovely. Hope you get the job application done , I always think that is the worst bit. Any extra money is welcome and it will boost your pension.

We have a window vac and it is very good - deals on the karcher one come up regularly. Its great for condensation which we have a problem with.

That's Monday done yet again :)

Happy July folks, the year is passing by far too quickly.

Have felt a bit meh today, couldn't put my finger on why, maybe the Monday blues. I tried to think of something to do that would cheer me up but couldn't come up with anything (apart from a holiday of course). I hate feeling flat for no reason. Went for a run at lunchtime, it didn't help my mood but at least it was productive.

Mr SA's latest pester is a fishing rod  He wants it for holiday. He rang me twice today to talk about it. I've told him to wait until we get there as I'm sure he'll have gone off the boil you then. No idea where he's going to fish, if he thinks I'm sitting there while he fishes he can think again. Goodness knows where he's got this idea from.

The new budgets commence from today and have started as I mean to go on with a NSD :)

    That's Tuesday done :)

Feel much chirpier today thankfully :) Suffering a bit with hay fever which isn't helping, fed up of runny eyes and nose.

Booked theatre tickets for Mr SA and I to see Club Tropicana next week. Thanks to me getting my ticket free as a carer it was only £23. Mr SA is chuffed to bits. It looks brilliant - 80s classics, just our era :) Booked seats at the end of a row so Mr SA won't fall on anyone trying to get past.

GD's 5th birthday next week, have got her presents, card etc, just got to get her a princess helium balloon - I've had my orders LOL.
