Afternoon folks

Another busy day today, a bit more skip filling, weeding and tidying up the garden. I was fishing some leaves out of the pond when what should I find in the net but a pair of Mr SA's sunglasses :rotfl: Anyway I've cleaned them up and left them on the coffee table, see if he notices them.
The weather has been a mix of heavy showers and lovely warm sunshine today. Got another load of washing dry anyway. The dog has been for a good run on the park and has been in the garden most of the day.
I've been to vote, Mr SA and DD can't be bothered to go, another shared trait - laziness.
Another Mr M order coming tomorrow this time with the things I need!! Luckily I've got a smart pass so only pay £20 every 6 months for anytime delivery.
Finances done, cc paid, sent £35 to VSP to make it up to my goal of £250. Got a small amount left over to go to savings, I think I'm going to re-open my regular savings account as the interest is much better than an ISA, I'll have to commit to a fixed amount per month so need to think about this first.
Planning to make a start on some decluttering tomorrow and more gardening if the weather's ok. I want to make the most of my days off before I go back to work, there's so much to do it's unreal!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
How on earth did Mr SA's sunglasses end up in the pond? :rotfl:
You sound like you've had a busy and productive day SA
. The skip is turning out to be very useful by the sound of it. When you have a house and a garden the work needing doing is literally never ending. I spent a whole week at Easter de-cluttering and I feel like I've barely scratched the surface! However I think if you do the bits that bother you the most then that does make you feel better.
What's left for you to de-clutter? Is the shed clear now? Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

I don't know where to start HH. The shed is more or less empty now and just has gardening tools in it which is what I bought it for. All the garden furniture needs staining, as does the fence, the shed needs painting  And as for the house  I feel overwhelmed but I can chip away at it.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Morning all, happy Friday

Milann the sunglasses had to be cleaned up but they're fine now. Mr SA can't remember losing them so he's happy with the find.
Just waiting for my Mr M delivery, email from them says Mr SA's beer is missing  He'll go into fear of running out of beer panic mode. He's got enough to last him until next week though.
Have a good day everyone

The skip has gone, no more room in it anyway.
What a miserable grey day today
On the plus side I've decluttered all the kitchen cupboards and made a list of everything food-wise in the cupboards and freezer. So now when I do the meal plan I can refer to it and not buy things I've already got. Took quite a while but a job well done.
Took the dog for a run on the park twice, it was quite cold on there
Mr SA has been like a wet weekend in Bognor again, moping about making the atmosphere heavy
The whole day has revolved around his mealtimes, it always seems to be time to cook his next meal.
One smile - I belong to a Lazarote FB group and I posted a photo of me on there with my gin of the day. Someone replied saying he and his wife were sitting behind me in the photo then someone else replied saying they were sitting opposite looking enviously at my gin, talk about a small world. Later someone else said they had 3 gins of the day one lunchtime and didn't remember the rest of the afternoon - seriously those gins were at least quadruple measures :rotfl:I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
