Gins sound amazing - can’t stand the stuff myself but I keep trying. I just find it too bitter. I love the look of the big goblets decorated with all manner of pretty garnishes though.
It’s a small world though as you say. A lady I used to work with posted a photo of foodie Friday at the local market. There in the background were my ds and dh stuffing there faces with the most enormous hot dogs :rotfl:January spends - £587.580 -
Is Mr SA worried about his health? Or does he have post holiday blues?
It sounds like you got a lot done with the food planning and it's good that the skip caused lots of de-cluttering to go on :T.
That was funny re the gin photo :rotfl: and your story is funny too MIlann :rotfl:.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Milann those I know who aren't keen on gin have loved it with lemonade not tonic. Have you tried the flavoured ones as they are lush? Having said that gin isn't to everyone's taste but I love it
LOL to your DH and DS being in the background of the photo
HH - Mr SA is worried about his health and the appointment with his consultant. On the other hand he's always been a miserable so and so, no change there.
Ended up de-cluttering the cupboard in the dining room, including the recipe folder of doom, threw away all recipes I will never honestly make but re-discovered some old favourites I'd forgotten about and will re-introduce.
So a very productive day
Plans for tomorrow are WW , Lidl first thing for ingredients for my aubergine curry and DS and the GKs coming in the afternoon. Probably won't get any decluttering done though.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Mmmm not thought of trying it with lemonade.....might have to investigate.
Have a lovely weekend - hope the scales are good to you tomorrow and the gks are in good spirits (not the gin kind though )

Scales wise I'm pinning my hopes on the fact that all my clothes are still too big so hopefully not too bad. It is what it is, I had a fab time, ate some lovely food and drank lots of gin and cava. Plus I didn't do as much walking as normal. I had a great holiday and am back on the wagon now

Glad you had a great holiday and enjoyed plenty of gin
.
I tend to drink gin with lemonade, I also like lemon gin with bottlegreen's fizzy elderflower.
Have a great weekend and hope you manage to get some more decluttering done.0 -
My favourite gin is Whittakers Navy Strength. Expensive, so only have it in the house when partner buys as a present for me but it is very strong(57%) so a little goes a long way.0

Glad to hear you enjoyed your holiday . Love the idea of you decluttering and filling the skip. Am sure you won't have put weight on if your clothes are still big on you. Personally I have never drank gin but all the different types are making me want to try some .
When is Mr SA's appointment,? Then you can get some answers.Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.0
