So, soup made, meal plan done, will have to go to bed soon for 4.45am get up

Back to work tomorrow, although I do love my job really and without it there would be no holidays. Plus it would drive me potty being at home with Mr SA all day.
Need to get back to WW plan properly and exercising. Yoga tomorrow.
Busy week ahead as meetings every day from tomorrow through to Thursday. At least it will pass quickly.
Need to get back into a routine.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Hope it wasn’t too awful when the alarm went off this morning. Enjoy your day of sensible conversation

That's Tuesday done - day 1 back at work

It passed quickly, plenty to catch up on, left early to go to yoga.
Work friend who had the accident on holiday is out of intensive care but still very poorly, improving slowly though which is all positive
Hairdressers trolley arrived today so Mr SA is going to attempt to put it together tomorrow. Only trouble is the instructions are in German :rotfl: It looks pretty simple though, just a few parts to put together.
Early night tonight and back on the alcohol free beer, detoxing all those gins of the day out of my system LOL.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Good to hear that your friend has improved enough to leave intensive care.

Ah... I can do this but it may take me a few years. :rotfl: It really makes sense though. I have a notebook for my recipe successes so at least that's a step in the right direction, I might have to be somewhat ruthless with some of the less likely ones.
I have some of the Aldi fuchsias too - lovely sturdy plants. I got trailing ones which look as though they will make a success of my hanging basket.

Hi SA - I'm glad to read you had a super holiday with lots of gin!:D
You've certainly been busy on the decluttering front! DD's skip came in really handy! The cataloguing of your food stores is a really good idea- and weeding out all the recipes will save you oodles of time. I tend to download recipe books on the kindle now. I have a kindle app on my iPad so I can look at the photos in colour and can also prop up the iPad in its cover up like a real recipe book.
I hope Mr SA is feeling less tired and all goes well for him on the 15th.

I find looking at recipes on my iPad really frustrating as the screen switches off in between stages and I have to keep switching it back on - drives me mad :rotfl:January spends - £587.580

Hello folks, happy Friday

Been a busy couple of days at work, glad it's Friday.
Not a lot to report, back to running in the gym this lunchtime, enjoyed it.
Weather has been dire here, lots of rain, got soaked on the way home from work
Mr SA has had a fall in the garden today and hurt his knee
It's been a day of returning items today, firstly tried to return Mr SA's broken glasses to Specsavers, they wanted to charge £10 for the repair, why as it's the rubbish frames that have broken!! Told them no, will super glue them - he hardly wears them anyway!! Secondly took the too small shirt back to Primani (Mr SA's mistake!), this was no problem £7 refunded
. Thirdly took new toothbrush back to Boots (mine), basically it's rubbish, doesn't charge up properly, lasts a couple of days then flat. Swapped it for a better one after a few questions as to what voltage I was charging it up with!!!!!!
DS and the GKs coming again tomorrow as his OH has a hair appointment locally. Could do without it to be honest, don't want to sound mean but it takes a massive chunk out of Saturday. We stopped them coming every week because of this and the fact we can't go anywhere when they're coming, they arrive at lunchtime and stay for about 3 hours. Then it's Sunday and I have to get everything done before it's time to go back to work. I don't think they realise.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
