Happy Friday folks

Taff - he could reinstate a carer, the care plan remains open. But it wouldn't be the same carer as he has given it up, no doubt put off by Mr SA (he decided caring wasn't for him!). I don't think it would wash with Mr SA now, he thinks he's fine without help.
Bad news about work friend today, the one in a coma abroad, her kidneys have stopped working
She's on my mind all the time, it's just so bloomin' unfair, she's such a lovely person
Benidorm is booked - theatre not the resort LOL
Not told Mr SA yet, have booked the day off work. It's the matinee. Not bloomin' cheap
Hope he'll enjoy it, I'm sure he will.
Mr SA has got his Kindle back up and running. This means he is also back on the case of things to buy. Top of his list is a wallet
Uncanny Scot's idea of the punch bag has never been so tempting.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I have looked in the past at empty punch bags on Amazon. I wanted to turn my shed (!) into a gym with the exercise bike and a punch bag.
A couple of work friends said that I handled stress really well but I don't, I am just no where a stressed at work as I am at home. I can't imagine what is like for you or my sister, but being on the sidelines and looking after mum, there is just never any time off and time at work is stressful (as work has gone to !!!! recently) but it isn't all down to me all the time. Whereas everything is at home. That nurse I saw said it was really important for me to have coffee alone, so I didn't have to try and be anything for anyone I could be me.
Like we all say SA, you are so good to him. Big love to you.
Make sure there is time to be you
XXXNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Sorry to read the news about your work friend

Happy Saturday

Lost 1.5lbs at WW so am now 1.5lbs under goal :j I love my WW meeting, such a lively, friendly group and very supportive. Bought the latest cookbook today and there's loads in there I want to make.
Mr SA is still frantically searching online for a wallet. He's driving me nuts with it to be honest. I pointed out to him he's already got several wallets so he doesn't exactly need a new one. He agreed then said he still wants a new one though
The weather here today has been a mixture of wind and torrential rain this morning followed by lovely sunshine this afternoon.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Wouldn't it be great if he developed a passion for selling spares? Mind you, he would then probably buy more in between listings...I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Can you hide his old wallets and then rotate them every so often, like you supposed to do with children's toys?
I was up your way at lunchtime, weather was rather random, five minutes of hailstones, five of sunshine, and then five of rain. Was a relief to get back in the car.My mortgage free diary: +++ Divide by Cucumber Error. Please reinstall universe and reboot+++

Brilliant idea :rotfl: :rotfl:. I suppose it could be worse, he could develop an obsession for something really expensive, like Rolex watches .
