Had a shock this morning when I checked my cc and there was an unidentified pending transaction of £33.69 from Amazon. I haven't ordered anything from Amazon so checked my Amazon account, no orders pending.
Guess what? Mr SA has been on his bloomin' Kindle and ordered himself a wallet. £33.69! I am absolutely fuming with him :mad: The wallet itself was £28 the rest was P&P. I've tried to cancel the order but he placed it yesterday and it's showing as dispatched so may not be able to be cancelled. :mad:I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Oh no! Can you intercept it and send it back? Maybe, you should confiscate the Kindle.Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.0

How annoying with Mr SA! I hope you've told him how annoyed you are and I hope he pays you back out of his pot.
I'm rubbish with wise words. But I just don't know how you do it.

33 pound for a wallet.
Bloody HELL!
Is there any way you could set Mr SA up with an Amazon account with Amazon credit on it ? like.. I don't know 50 a month and no other payment methods? would he be interested at all in doing competitions online to take up some time? rather than shopping. Puzzles? Could he make anything??
I guess the shopping is due to boredom. So sorry SA.

Totally agree with this. He shouldn't have access to your credit card details. It should definitely come out of his money   .Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally

Oh SA! Can't believe he bought another wallet! Have to agree with everyone else about changing the Amazon password. Also I'm assuming you've got him as a joint holder on the cc? I think it's time to stop that. Im also assuming that he wouldn't be acceptable to get his own card? If that's the case perhaps a basic account with a debit card with his spends paid into it and once it's gone, it's gone for the month or week? It's a shame that you've got to treat him like an unruly child, but I think needs must as he's sabotaging all your good work with your budget pots.
Buffy has hit the nail on the head re his boredom. She's right about the competitions - if he could win a few things it would stave off his boredom. Has he ever thought about eBaying some of his excess stuff? Only downer here I suppose though is he might start buying as well! Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟
