That's Tuesday done
Busy day today, did stage 1 of the BSL course, was very interesting. Another lesson on Thursday.
Mr SA ok today, no incidents.
Smart meter fitted. Fitter said we are on night and day units, would be cheaper not to be. Will look into this. As he had to switch electric off I had to go round resetting clocks, etc.
Changed the batteries in the boiler control unit. Apparently you only get 10 seconds to change them then it loses the settings. Guess what .....
Sometimes I get so fed up of being the only person in the house able to do anything remotely techie. Just for a change I'd love someone else to sort things out. It's like living on your own without any of the advantages.
Mr SA's wallet arrived today and is faulty, it won't close. Will contact the seller but if I've got to pay to return it I might just write it off as it only cost £2.99. Of course now he's hassling me for a replacement - aargh
I've more or less only just sat down after sorting everything out and I've caved in and poured myself a glass of wine.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Enjoy the wine, you deserve it!!
Despite my Sister and Sister-in-Law both being deaf, I’m ashamed to say I only just know enough BSL to scrape by. My Mum was determined that Sis should learn to talk, so she self taught herself BSL when she was older and now has the best of both worlds. As a result, we are both awesome at lip readingand I can usually communicate with them and their friends without issue. I really should learn more sign language though Xx

I don't blame you for having the wine SA! Glad you enjoyed the BSL course

 to Mr SA's wallet! It had to happen to him didn't it!
I like your food plan for the week. Might pinch some of your ideas!:D
I haven't gone for the smart meter idea yet. I'm always a bit lazy about things like that! If I ever get a new piece of electrical/techie equipment it makes my heart sink in a way - because I have to read the blinkin' manual and work it all out!
Have a good week SA.Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

That's Wednesday and Thursday done.
Mr SA has had another bad headache plus a fall this morningHe seems ok otherwise though, not overly concerned just yet.
Second BSL course today. I'll be honest and say it wasn't easy. It's too much to take in in a short space of time, it covered numbers, questions, the alphabet, greetings, general chit chat. I'll never remember it all. Still I've grasped a few basics to enable me to greet my deaf colleague.
Only trouble is I'm thinking of everything in sign language - I was like this when I learned shorthand it drove me mad. Final lesson next week.
Then this afternoon I went to a showing of the documentary the man on the bridge for Time to Talk Day which we were observing at work.
So I haven't done a lot of actual work today LOL.
Friday tomorrow :jI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
