I love going in at the end of sales, all the really small and really big sizes are left over and I'm really small. Same with shoes. One advantage of being diddy :)

  • That's a brilliant bargain on the M&S jeans and a good amount to pay off the debt too :). Glad you enjoyed your day off.

    Have a good weekend.

Forgot to add, ES I don't spend £100-200 on beer for Mr SA, that's everything when it's all added up, although his beer alone must be near £100. I know he drinks too much, although ihe's never drunk or worse for wear. It doesn't matter how much I nag him he won't cut down. He was the same when he used to smoke, until his dad died of lung cancer definitely caused by smoking, then he gave it up. If he wants to damage his health it's up to him. If he ever moans about me buying anything for myself I just remind him.

OK. I just thought he must be permanently drunk if you pay out £200 a month on beer. :rotfl::rotfl:

Do you not allocate the same spending money to each of you? I would do a fixed monthly amount which has to cover all his pesters, clothes and beers and you get the same to spend on clothes, theatre tickets and gin :T

I don't go without ES but I don't spend as much on me as he gets spent on him. Food for thought though. If he knew he had a fixed monthly amount to spend though he would spend the lot, whereas I would try to save some.

I've reminded him today we have a holiday to pay for, plus the cc to pay off by end March plus I only have 8 years until I retire so want to save as much as I can. His stock answer is put it on the credit card, it will be engraved on his tombstone.

Just sticking my head round the door to say you are doing brilliantly on the debt repayments! And the jeans... I knew there was a good reason for me to go on a diet, my size goes too quickly!
