Morning folks
All quiet still here Mr SA and the dog still asleep. Mr SA had bad pains in his head last night, right at the front where the tumour was. It scared him so we'll keep an eye on this, make sure it's not a regular thing. He was ok for the rest of the night though.
I lost another 1lb at WW yesterday :j Only 1lb over goal now. It's really paid off tracking everything and being aware of what I consume. My step average is now on 18,688 a day which is up on last week's 18,055. Jumped on the treadmill yesterday to try and get some more steps clocked upStill doing the 30 day abs challenge, which seems to be going on forever, seems like more than Day 21 today.
Finances done this morning. Keeping track of these is really paying off too. Spent a third of groceries budget already but I'm well stocked up now and will cut down this coming week to try and claw some back.
New totals:
Debt £500/1570 = £1070 (need to clear by end March)
Holiday £380/1034 = £654 (need to pay off by end March)
VSP £108.47 (smashed my target of £100)
Emergency fund £3260 (won't be adding any until April payday)
Today should be a NSD although not counting these particularly, I'm more focused on sticking to my budgets. Don't need to go to Aldi today despite Mr SA pestering to go to get that fishing jacket he doesn't need.
Must clear the spare bedroom today which houses the gym equipment. It's full of stuff stored in there when we refurbished the house, most of it is junk.
Will do the meal plan later, focus will be on using what I've already got rather than make a load of new things this coming week, need to claw back that budget.
Have a good day everyone, see you laterI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Well done on all your tracking - both on weight and finances!:j
You're on a real roll now with your targets!
I do hope Mr SA is ok today. It must have been a real worry to you both last night. Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

He's been fine today thanks SSG.
So I made it a NSDNot been anywhere other than the park with the dog.
Sorted out the spare room/gym. Needs decorating but at least it's clear of junk and looks like a gym againDD had dumped a load of stuff in there so it's gone straight in the bin. Found a box full of small change which has gone into my holiday pot.
Meal plan for next week:
Today is salmon, veg and potato wedges
Monday: Pizza, butternut squash chips and salad (this is that pizza I made last week, put leftovers in the freezer)
Tuesday: Stir fry and noodles (my favourite comfort food)
Wednesday: Veg lasagne (home made from freezer) and salad
Thursday: Butternut squash curry (home made from freezer) and cauliflower rice, mini naan bread
Friday: Pesto fish parcel and swede chips
This week's soup for work lunches is carrot, swede and red lentil.
Breakfasts the usual fruit and 0% Skyr
Snacks WW bars, cottage cheese and crispbread, fruit
3 AFDs.
I think I practically live on lentils, swede and butternut squashI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Well done on sorting out the room
xx

Meal plan sounding delicious as usual. I admire the way you stick to it - I’m too impulsive:pJanuary spends - £587.580

Just a quickie - Mr SA has very annoyingly given the dog half of the chicken DD was saving for her wraps. I could've thumped him
He just does these stupid things then wonders why people get cross with him
What a waste!
The cat ate my lunch. Mixed some tuna and mayo to go on a sandwich thin, turned my back for 5 minutes to find she'd jumped on the worktop and was eating it
And that's my moan over.
Forgot to say I'm going on a BSL course at work next week. The lady I sit near at work is deaf, we communicate via her lip reading and me gesticulating but will be good to know a few signs.
Anyway, have a good week folksI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Eeek to the cat.
My new cat would do that!
Enjoy the BSL course

That's Monday done
Beanie the deaf lady has an interpreter with her most of the time.
Mr SA has had what he describes as "a bit of a do" on the park this morning. He went dizzy, felt sick and odd. He said he was shaking and had to come straight home. Of course he's worried this is related to the headache on Saturday. I think if there's another incident I'll have to ring the clinic as he has an open appointment. Need to monitor this.
Having a smart meter fitted tomorrow. I don't think it will make any difference to energy consumption as we don't go mad anyway, what we use is what we use.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
