Well done on the WW result - and I'm sure the 5lb for the hols will come off quick as well as you're always so disciplined.
Good result on Mr SA 's wallet. Hopefully this will be his last wallet for some time!

Not always disciplined SSG. My downfall is red wine and gin. Not bothered about chocolate, cake, etc, give me a glass of red any day
Having said that now I'm counting the points I'm not having as many, plus these days a couple of glasses and I'm asleep LOL.
Friends on FB are talking about a litre of pink gin plus free glass at the co-op for £16Will have a look tomorrow when I go to Aldi although the co-op near me isn't the best, just a small one, not getting my hopes up.

I have my finance tracking spreadsheet on my one drive via Office 365 so as I can access it anywhere have found that to be a great help.
Well done on losing that half pound and hopefully that offer is available in your local Co-OpBUGGRITMILLENIUMHANDANDSHRIMP I TOLD EM! - Foul Ole Ron
It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

The pink gin offer wasn't in my local co-op, didn't think it would be
Oh well.
Have been to Aldi today. Don't laughbut I'm thinking of getting a shopping trolley for my Aldi trips. DS thinks it's hilarious and a slippery slope downhill to old age. It would be handy as I have to rely on Mr SA picking up the bags on his scooter and he moans if I'm too long as he waits outside with the dog. That said, as we take the dog with us it gives her a good walk. Something to consider.
Done finances, much easier now the spreadsheet follows me back and forth. US - work haven't got Office 365 in it's entirety yet but will stick my spreadsheet on One Drive when it has. Should be anytime soon.
So this is what they're looking like:
Barclaycard £1070 payable by end March - will be end February before anything further gets paid off
Holiday balance £654 payable by end March, waiting for payday
Tesco card £0 - cleared this today
Emergency Fund £3260 - nothing being added until April payday when the debt has been cleared
VSP £115.68 - £7.21 added this week
Weight loss 0.5lbs, only half a pound to go to goal, aiming for another 5.5lbs off in time for holiday then I can relax
On day 28 of the 30 day abs challenge - will be glad when this is over. I think I can see a bit of a difference though.
Average steps per day 19,496, up from 18,845 a day the week before
The spreadsheet tells me I'm in danger of overspending on my grocery budget by £31.23 if I'm not careful. Will need to have two frugal weeks to pull it back. Not a lot left in the "other spends" pot, will need to be really careful. It's Valentines Day this week, have given Mr SA a strict budget of £10. Then at the weekend it's DS's OH's birthday.
Meal plan has been done:
Tonight is Salmon, stir fry veg and noodles
Monday - the last slice of the pizza from the freezer with salad and butternut squash wedges
Tuesday - Piri piri tuna steak, roast pepper rice, baby corn and mange tout
Wednesday - scampi, butternut squash chips and salad
Thursday - Quorn chilli and rice
Friday - Mediterranean cod
This week's soup for work lunches is carrot, coriander and butterbean.
Got to do a full week at work next week then the following week I've got 1.5 days off.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
I have a 'little old lady' shopping trolley. I bought it when I lived in Paris in my twenties and all the girls in the office had them - there was even a little parking area for them. It is black and folds up to the size of a large-ish clutch bag, bit heavy when it's folded up but not outrageously so. When unfolded it just looks like a very tall black bag on wheels.
I love it. It means I can buy heavy things like potatoes or pet food, or larger bottles and I just pull it home up the hill. My OH and the DSs laugh at it but it's done well for over thirty years and still going strong.
If I were to buy a new one, I'd get one with a proper stick handle even though you can't fold them up the same - I think they'd be easier to pull/push along.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

Nothing wrong with the trolley if it serves a purpose and makes life easier.
