That's payday done - money in money out.
Tesco cc has been paid off.
£300 off Barclaycard, new balance £1580 - early start to the 1 debt vs 100 days challenge
Another £20 off the vet bill - now £395
VSP 2019 stands at £55.98 which means I've smashed my £50 a month target
Got Mr SA to take the dog on the park this morning as I've done it every day all over Christmas. Will take her out again later as I need to go to the cashpoint for tonight.
The bin men came this morning saying they'd missed some bins in our area last week (not ours though) so I cashed in on it and got both bins emptied againI get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -
Hope you have a lovely day & Happy new year
All the best for 2019

Forgot to add Mr SA said he enjoyed his couple of hours on his own last night, he watched Star Wars and made a huge dent in the bottle of rum without me there to police his measures.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0

Today feels like the longest day ever.
We're not going out until 8pm so need to fill the time.
2019 plans:
1. Pay off Barclaycard £1580 by end March
2. Be 5lbs under WW goal weight by end March
3. Pay off holiday balance by end March £1034
4. Pay off vet bill by end April £395
5. £50 per month minimum to VSP
6. Start adding to emergency fund aiming for £4000 by the end of 2019
7. Exercise: 20,000 steps per day, 2 gym sessions per week plus Pilates plus yoga
8. Not planning to do Dry January but want to aim for at least 12 AFD per month with the aim to raise this figure to 16
9. Do a proper meal plan every week including veg accompaniments so I'm not buying stuff I don't plan to use
10. Use up store cupboard items that have been hanging around for a while
11. Use up food in freezer in preparation for getting a new fridge freezer
12. Go round the house making a list of what needs doing in each room and get on with it
13. Declutter one area a week
14. Read 2 books a month
15. Have a secret shopping day off once a month
16. Go to concerts/theatre that I'd like to see with or without Mr SA
17. Make budgets and stick to them
I think that's enough to be going on with
Hope everyone has a nice New Year's Eve however you choose to spend it and here's hoping we all have a happy and healthy 2019 :beer:I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0 -

Happy New Year everyone
Last night was ok, we came home at 11pm. Usually our local is packed solid on NYE and they have a good band on. Not last night, it was quite empty, not much atmosphere and a DJ playing the most random selection of music I've ever heard. Mr SA enjoyed his steak but my leek tart was rock hard. On the plus side as we'd already paid for most of it in advance we only had to pay £4 for Mr SA's pint. Thankfully Mr SA only had a pint and some Prosecco so no repeat of the other year.
When we got back home I put my feet up with a glass of wine ready to watch Madness and the fireworks. Looked at the clock, it was 11.55, took a sip of wine, looked at the clock - it was 1am  I do it every year, missed it again!!
Can't believe it's back to work tomorrow, where did that go?
Today I'm going to Mr T to take back some trousers I bought DD for Christmas that are too short. Mr SA is excited as he wants to look at the sweatshirts.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)0
