  • Hi Sun Addict

Just had a catch up with your news. You do know that we all marvel at your ability to deal with whatever comes and keep going. I imagine the days off are really medicinal, not recreational as I don't know how you would get through otherwise.

N is always manic at Christmas market time. I have yet to do any shopping and if I am honest, I wish I didn't have to do any. I am going to arrange a home delivery for Christmas at my mums. I did look at the gorgeous Christmas goodies in Lidls but who am I kidding - if I buy them now then I will have to replace them again and again. So it will be a mad dash to the shops before getting the flight back.

Good luck for your weigh in tomorrow. I am struggling to stick with mine as I am now cooking food instead of salads. Also the weather has been very rainy so my exercise has gone out the window.

Thinking of you, take care honey

    Happy Saturday :)

Didn't go to WW today as it would've made it a rush to get to flu jab appointment. Don't think I've lost anything this week anyway.

The nurse still did Mr SA's flu jab, he made a right fuss about it saying it really hurt. It didn't!

Then we went to Lidl and picked up the cava, cheese and crisp deals plus a few other bits. Got £5 off as we spent £40.

Stopped off at the pub at the end of our road on the way back. Had a pink G+T. Would've had the gin of the week but it was £8.95  Just too expensive for a local pub I'm afraid. Mr SA opened a bag of the crisps we bought and had about finished them by the time we got home plus some of the French stick!

Sampled the cava tonight and it's gorgeous :) Thinking about going back for some more tomorrow as it's on offer at £3.49 just for the weekend - well worth it.

Got the Christmas decorations out this afternoon ready for going up next weekend. Certainly won't need to buy any new ones this year.

It was marshmallow gin Beanie. Not over fond of marshmallows anyway. Far too much for a tiny local pub at the end of our road, this is city centre prices.

Cava sounds a bargain....might just toddle on over to a new Lidl a mile or so away - I’ve not visited yet and it opened over the summer.

    .

We have had a new Gin and micro bar open in my village last week (its lovely but very loud!). On Saturday they had a Persian Blue Marshmellow gin on offer -it was £5.95 with a mixer and garnish included. Expensive but much much more reasonable than your gin!! It was very nice too - a lovely colour well looked like screen wash really :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Hope you have a lovely week xx
