I think I've worn my feet out over the years HH. My average step count is 20,000 plus on a normal day, I have been known to do over 32,000. Depends what I'm doing.

Lost another half a pound at WW so only 2lbs to back at goal :)

Trying to get all my cleaning and bits done today as I've got to take Mr SA in town tomorrow for his eye test. He's got a list as long as his arm of things he wants from Primani  He really does need a few things though. He also wants to look at the Christmas market before it gets too busy to navigate on his scooter.

    Anyway must get on ....

SA glad you had a nice Friday out. The weather was nice here today and tomorrow promises the same , so hoping you get a good day so you can get to town with no problem.

Also that you find a pair of shoes that are comfortable for all your walking.

  • Your step count is amazing :T. I hope Mr SA doesn't break the bank with his Primani shop .

Glad you're having a good time...am with you on not wanting to navigate Primarni or a Xmas market with a scooter..best sorted early I agree. I get palpitations going into Primarni at the best of times as it is

    Have a good eve x

Hope you enjoyed the Christmas market and Mr SA managed to get about ok. I love the atmosphere midweek but it’s heaving at weekend at the big town near me. It has grown so big over the years too - spread over several sites - you end up walking miles if you do it all - Christmas tradition and all that....

I've treated myself to a gin advent calendar :) Got it from Mr M, they delivered it tonight. Looks fab, loads of different gins - roll on 1 December :) A couple of years ago I had a wine advent calendar but it was mainly white wine and I prefer red so not worth the money for me.

Brizzle - Primani is best tackled the minute it opens, any later time is a nightmare.

Got all my cleaning done and have roasted some butternut squash in preparation for the lentil and butternut squash loaf I'm making tomorrow. Mr SA has had a curry made in the slow cooker and I've had a Thai veg curry from a WW recipe.

Will be wearing my trainers tomorrow for the trek into town with a plaster on my toe. Will have to walk as Mr SA is scootering. We'll have to set off at 8.15 for his 9.15 appointment. No rest for the wicked.

  • Good to hear that you enjoyed your lunch and the boiler is fixed. Rotten news about your toe though - how annoying - hope it's on the mend.

Here's to a stress free shop tomorrow with Mr SA at Primani and the Xmas market - and hope he forgets his pester list!

Absolutely shattered! Over an hour waiting for Mr SA in Specsavers. They tried to sell him extra eye test £10 plus hearing test plus 2 pairs of glasses for £69. Good job I was with him - I said no, no and no. He's entitled to free glasses courtesy of being in receipt of ESA, he hardly ever wears them anyway as he doesn't really read and his hearing is selective. End of.

Don't even ask how much he spent in Primani  We were in there over an hour. On the plus side he is now kitted out for the foreseeable.

Didn't really get to see the Christmas market, it was heaving and not really the best place for Mr SA and his scooter. People just don't look where they're going. Thankfully he has no plans to visit town again before Christmas.

The weather has been gorgeous yet again here, clear blue skies and sunny :)

Still need to take the dog out, make my soup, make my butternut squash roast, do the ironing, etc :( All I really want to do is relax :(

Unbelievable! Mr SA went in a card shop unaccompanied to get me a Christmas card. He has managed to come out with a card minus the envelope. He asked me if I could bring an envelope from work to put it in. Believe me you would not want a Christmas card in an envelope from where I work :rotfl:
