She did warn that because people tend to share when they need help it can be a bit doom and gloom but can be good resources for information and support. To be fair I have found that many groups for people with medical problems are often the same due people posting when they need most support.I hope they are some help to her snd your ds.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Morning all, happy New Year’s Eve 🥂🥳
Another year gone by in a flash.I’m doing a NYE live ClubFit class in an hour then I need to go to the big Mr T.Hoping to go out for lunch today, we usually do on NYE, but the weather forecast shows 100% chance of rain. The local is only 10 minutes walk away so we might be able to make a dash for it without Mr SA getting his scooter too wet. The trouble with our local is that if you go too early it’s empty and there’s no atmosphere and Mr SA likes his lunch as close to 12 noon as possible. Plus it’s expensive and never has any offers. We’ll see.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Yes, what a grey soggy old day in our neck of the woods, @Sun_Addict. We took one look out of the bedroom window first thing & decided to bump our planned Lincoln trip to another weekend. We'd already postponed our lakeside walk to next week because of rain. The local forecast only said 'showers' for here this morning, but there is already standing water in some of the local fields. Anyway, I hope you manage to get out for your lunch today. All the best for 2023 - I enjoy following your diary. Your fitness is very inspiring. Mine has fallen off a cliff, so I shall be looking to improve that as we go into the New Year.

Thank you all, we did get out and not too wet thankfully. However the local had more staff than customers. We were there just over an hour and it cost £36 for a vegan burger, beef burger, onion rings, a pint and a glass of wine 😱 No wonder it was empty! My vegan burger was literally just that in a bun with a few salad leaves. The food was nice but definitely not worth the cost. Mr SA knocked his pint over but fortunately had almost finished it. Definitely not eating there again, they are charging city centre prices in a suburb. I wish we’d carried on another 10 minutes up the road where there’s a lot more choice and competition so better prices. Anyway it was all budgeted for.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4
