Happy Friday. I can’t believe it’s almost 2023, I’m still waiting for Christmas 2022 to happen.Payday for me so need to look at finances and do the payday money shuffle. Not sure what we’re doing today, it will involve taking the dog out at some stage. I’d like to go out for lunch either today or tomorrow, I’d prefer tomorrow as it’s NYE but still don’t know if DS and the GKs are coming for their Christmas presents. I’m also itching to take down the decorations but trying to leave them up for the GKs. I’ll have to take them down Monday at the latest as I’m back at work Tuesday.Exercise today will be a WW live Move & Motivate session this morning, dog walking and something from the FitOn app later.Tonight’s dinner is a Thai sweet chilli fish cake from freezer stocks with lots of veg. I had an epic fail with last night’s dinner as I decided to use up some gluten free spaghetti that was an online shop sub back in the early days of the pandemic when they didn’t accept returns and pasta was scarce. Well it just melted into a soggy mess in the pan and I had to throw it away and cook some proper pasta. Might end up binning the rest of it to be honest.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

I dont know how you keep going. You never get 5 minutes peace when at home and Mr SA is up. You used to be able to get locks that could be opened with a coin. Not sure if they are still available but might be worth looking.

I’d take my decs down early if I could too. MrWW loves keeping them up as long as possible despite spending all his time policing the pets from going near, looking or eating them. It’s an impossible job, but he seems to enjoy it. I just let them have a look, climb or play 😬Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Sun_Addict said:I’ve packed my suitcase so just have the toiletries and Mr SA’s suitcase to pack tomorrow. The taxis to/from the airport are booked and have gone up £5 each way since April 👎We only live 12 miles from the airport how can they justify £40! I can see it from my back garden! Not so long ago it was £20.Where do you live that is 12 miles from the airport that you can see it? My family live 6 miles from the same airport and can't. though they can hear the race track. It is hilly in your part of the county to be fair (if right county/part of county). I though it was 16 miles from airport. You live less than a mile from where my gran lived and less than 2 from my uncle. Now I wait to find out that I am indeed in the completely wrong county lol
