Just catching up with everything @Sun_Addict and I'm so sorry to hear about your DIL but so happy that she's back home and was able to spend Christmas with your son and the kids and that you still got to see them 😁. Hopefully with proper monitoring from the doctors things will be okay and the fluid tests shows nothing concerning. This is a reminder to me that my eye test is very overdue.
Hopefully Fitbit get a replacement for you sorted very soon.x

Fitbit customer services used to be first class, what a shame if they have deteriorated. I've also had a Fitbit that lasted a couple of years: my current one is a bit older so I'm hoping it goes on for some time. They aren't cheap. DH has an alternative that does nearly the same as mine but doesn't seem to have an app.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Morning happy Twixmas 😆
Whose idea was it to book a 6.30 am delivery slot on a day off 😬 Anyway all delivered and put away, no missing items or subs. Only a small order so didn’t take long. This week’s voucher was £3 off party food which included pizzas so got a pizza for 49p. I still have a few fresh bits to pick up at the weekend. One of the kitchen ceiling light bulbs has gone this morning so that’s on my to do list. Typical it’s the one above the fridge freezer that’s awkward to get to!
No idea what we’re doing today, depends on the weather, can’t go far if it’s raining. Got plenty to do round the house so won’t be bored.I’m completely lost without my Fitbit, I hate not knowing if I’ve hit my steps target 😩 I will be doing a couple of online exercise sessions today. The live WW app ones don’t start up again until Saturday, I like the discipline of them being at set times.Tonight’s dinner will be a portion of veggie chilli from the freezer with wedges.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -
Morning SA. I love my Fitbit, but mostly it’s used for lighting my way to the bathroom in the wee small hours and showing me how pathetic my steps and sleep count is….I’m letting it down! I used to be so good with steps, but struggle for time and motivation. I was up at 7 with the dog, but came back to bed.

SA, how about an app on your phone? StepsApp seems to have the best reviews. They're perhaps not completely accurate depending on whether you always carry your phone everywhere, but it's a reasonable interim solution?
Prayers for your DIL, and thank goodness the optician spotted the problem. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?5 -
I’ll live without one for a few days @satchmo1. I don’t always have my phone with me so it wouldn’t be accurate. To think I used to be happy with a pedometer in my sock 😆 As long as I keep up with my exercise I’ll know roughly what I’m doing.
It’s been raining more or less all day apart from a short respite at lunchtime when I managed to get on the park with the dog. She was covered in mud when we got home but she enjoyed chasing after her ball. If the weather’s better tomorrow we’ll go further afield.
Managed to earn a few £ doing short surveys, have done a few bits around the house, some Spanish lessons and read a few chapters of my book. It’s just nice to be off work.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
I’ve just heard back from FitBit and they’re going to send me a new one once I’ve returned the faulty one. They will send me a shipping label so I don’t have to pay for postage.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)9
