I hadn’t heard of cheesy chips until a colleague from Birmingham asked for them on a pub lunch out. I don’t like chips so anything and chips is lost on me.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)1

We introduced my sil to chips with curry sauce in the summer. After turning his nose up he’s now a convert to our Northern ways 😂😂😂January spends - £587.585

Haven’t been anywhere other than the park today so it’s been NSD 11, the last one of December and 2022.I’ve sent an oddment to the Christmas 2023 pot so now have £65.45 in there. Also done a few surveys and will cash out when it reaches £10. Must start keeping a track of how much I make.I attended a WW virtual workshop this morning, not the same as in person but still interesting, all focused on resetting and refreshing. I need to start tracking properly again as I’d like to lose a few pounds before my holiday in April.I’ve added learning Greek to my Duolingo app. Oh my days 😱 Might not get very far with it but it would be good to learn a few words in time for the next trip there whenever that might be. I didn’t realise you could learn more than one language at the same time so thanks to @Cherryfudge for that information.I’ve finally finished the last of the Christmas books I was reading, it will be good to read something grittier after 3 in a row, all nice easy reads but with very similar, very predictable stories.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I saw my dgd last night and checked with her. Her partner suffers with Ideopathic Intercranial Hypertension. She now lives a relatively normal life and is able to work full time (using a computer), drive etc. She apparently puts tips about living with it on line. I dont know where but if you think it might be useful to your dil I can find out. Just let me know.

So we won’t be seeing the GKs tomorrow 🙁 DIL is still very tired and although DS can drive he seems reluctant to drive further than a couple of miles, he isn’t a confident driver, I don’t know why. Goodness knows when we’ll finally get to give them their presents.Definitely going out for lunch tomorrow I don’t care if Mr SA can’t be bothered or if it’s raining, I’m fed up of staying in.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

He's probably scared to leave her even if he's told it is alright to. It is such a shame you can't get over to them, but we'll keep our fingers crossed. Isn't it amazing that ladyholly knows about that.Enjoy your lunch out. I understand the stir crazy thing. I have just about had it with looking out the window & getting up to close the curtains & then realising it is only 1.30.4

Sun_Addict She uses two facebook groups. IIH support UK and Life with IIH. She did warn that because people tend to share when they need help it can be a bit doom and gloom but can be good resources for information and support. To be fair I have found that many groups for people with medical problems are often the same due people posting when they need most support.I hope they are some help to her snd your ds.4
