Well my day off has flown by!I’ve had my nails done red glitter with one gold glitter nail on each hand. I love them they’re so sparkly.Had to walk all the way to the big Mr T for some proper bread rolls for Mr SA’s lunch as I could only find those pre-sliced branded ones locally- they’re expensive and so light they don’t fill Mr SA up.Took the dog for a park run after lunch, she enjoyed it. At least we’ve had some sunshine today but still bitterly cold. The bathroom has had a good clean and I’ve vacuumed and mopped all the floors.
The new dehumidifier is working well and collecting water like it’s supposed to. I’m only keeping it on during the day, I don’t want it running 24-7.I’m going back into the office tomorrow, suppose I’d better show my face now I’m feeling better. I could do with picking a few things up from town so there’s a method in my madness 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
I had my nails done yesterday. Red glitter and Gold Glitter but index and ring finger on both hands are gold in my case and others red glitter. They look really festive.

Three years! How time passes, especially with all that happened since. Does it help to think that's about a thousand days and that road hasn't got you once since then? The power of association can be very strong, though.
Probably over two million steps since your accident... but I don't do big numbers.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Yes to the log in thing🙄 your nails sound lovely. I would love to have my nails done but we aren't allowed. I had them done for DD1s wedding and as I was off for two weeks I was able to swan around with them for the whole two weeks 😊Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1205

That's Wednesday done, only 7 more working days until I break up for Christmas 😁
I went back to the office today, it wasn't very busy probably because of the rail strikes. I was sitting on a row of desks all by myself. It was lovely and warm in there though, probably a bit too warm as I'd worn a thick jumper because of the weather.
I nipped out to Mr S and Homesense this morning plus Lidl on the way home so it's not been a NSD.
Received the monthly statement from Octopus and last month we used £213.55 of gas and £123.92 total £337.47 for ONE month 😲 We pay £228.55 a month at the moment plus the energy support of £67.00 so £295.55 meaning it was £41.92 short. The shortfall has been taken out of built up credit so we now have £501.91 credit left. And this is before it goes up again! Plus I lowered the thermostat to 18 from 21 a while ago.
Exercise has been 24,150 steps so far with a live Zumba class to do at 6pm so will be a very good steps day.
Tonight's dinner is something quick and simple: scampi, sweet potato wedges and veg.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Wow, the energy use is scary isn't it. We are due to take our readings in a couple of days. Not sure what I am expecting. We are currently over £300 in credit, but not sure for how long. We were away for a few days mid November but have had the heat on hours a day this last week. DH will take a photo of the meter and I'll send the readings off....might shut my eyes as I do it....lol. Great step count. I have failed miserably this week as not been out since Saturday as I am scared of slipping in this weather, plus its too cold for me. I have been doing online classes and using treadmill. But won't get to 24K just indoors. Must try harder. I feel that you are an inspiration to drive me on to do more....although I suspect you are quite a few years younger than me, so that is my excuse....lol.
Enjoy your dinner, I love sweet potato wedges.Making the debt go down and savings go up

Blimey. That's some monthly bill.
Submit our meter readings at the weekend ready for billing next week.
Think we are on course for our first ever monthly bill over £200!2 -
I am dreading our bill as Mr LH has been so cold the heating has been on 24/ 7. Set at 14 overnight and until he gets up then gradually up to 21. We are at home 24 hours a day being retired much as Mr SA. It doesnt half whack the heating bill.

Yes the heating bills are scary. We have ours on a lot during the day but it goes for about 8 pm. We’ve been heading to bed early to watch tv in the warmth 😏January spends - £587.584
