I am so glad your little dogs results are good. I hope you get many more years of her running around.
  • I'd ring up Mr M & see if you can still get the £38. Its not your fault the liquid burst. Worst that can happen is they say no...

Don’t do too much on your foot. There’s so many little bones and ligaments it’s very easy to over do it….which means it takes longer to heal than initially resting it…..voice of experience talking 😂😂😂

The £38 thing is the first week of a Christmas saver scheme. I need to spend £100 before discount in the next 4 out of 5 weeks, so I still have another 4 weeks to qualify. To be honest this week might still count as this has happened before and it did. I do struggle to spend £100 in one shop even with beer, wine and vast quantities of cat food.

Mr SA went out for a walk with his stick, only across the road to the park but I wouldn't let him take the dog in case he had a fall. The scooter shop is waiting for parts for the repairs and estimate he should have it back by Friday.

  • Glad to hear you are still going out Friday and will enjoy a saunter round the shops. I hope you get to WFH the rest of the week to rest your ankle.
Is the dog missing going out on Mr SA scooter ?
Your dinner sounds very nice .

The dog is definitely missing the scooter. My foot has been ok today but probably because my step count has been in smaller bursts.

    Morning, happy hump day.

I'm WFH today, not risking setting off my foot again and there is no need for me to be physically in the office today. I need to keep an eye on Mr SA too as I've got a feeling he may attempt to go out with his stick again and my main concern is he'll take the dog with him. If he had a fall I don't want to think about what could happen.

I'll have to take the dog out a couple of times again, she is a pain in the night if she doesn't get a fair bit of exercise, she had me up at 1am. I'm going to do Zumba tonight but can stop if my foot hurts.

Tonight's dinner is a portion of pearl barley and root veg stew from freezer stocks, I'll have that with a couple of veggie sausages. Mr SA has requested pie, chips and curry sauce again as he enjoyed it so much last week.

Today should be NSD 3 of November.

Did you know you can give your dog paracetamol 2 or 3 times a day. Assuming she weighs about the same as our little one (7kg or thereabouts) the dose is a quarter of a tablet. Make sure it is not a coated tablet. I usually got them from the supermarket.  It might help her at night and it is ok to give with Onsior.

Thank you @ladyholly, no I didn’t know. She’s usually really good at night it’s just that she’s not getting out as much as she’s used to because of the scooter. Mr SA takes her out several times a day even if it’s only for a ride on his knee to look at the local shops.
