When will Mr S get his scooter back….at least he’ll appreciate it.January spends - £587.583 -
That's Monday done, well almost.
In the office this morning then back home to finish the day off.
NSD 2 of November today.
Finances weekly check done. Some oddments shaved off and sent to the Christmas pot which now totals £582.79 so almost at my target of £600.
A couple of my friends have dropped out of Friday's lunch so we've changed the venue to a local village which suits most of us better. It was on the verge of being cancelled at one stage, I would've been very disappointed. I plan to do some shopping in the city centre first then hop on a bus to the village pub where I've booked a table.
Mr SA is still scooter-less but is a lot calmer about it now.
The foot attached to my dodgy ankle is really painful all across the top, it's been like it for a few days. If it persists I'll have to go to the doctors with it. I've walked to and from work and I was in a fair bit of pain on the way back. Just going to do a Pilates session tonight so that won't put any pressure on my foot.
Tonight's dinner is a portion of veggie lasagne from the freezer with the remainder of the salad in the fridge.

My foot felt so much better soaking in a warm bath so I’ve dug out the heated wheat cushion I had when I broke my ankle. It’s really easing it. Dr Google suggests a diagnosis of over-exercising 😬 I think it might stem back to when I slipped on some wet leaves and went over on my ankle, it’s not been right since. Some good news in that the vet rang and the dog’s blood test results have come back with a perfect bill of health and she’s fine to carry on with the Onsior tablets. The vet said the results are excellent for a 10 year old dog. That’s put my mind at rest anyway.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Morning, happy Tuesday.
WFH today so no pounding the pavements to/from work.
Had a hot water bottle on my foot last night. It's still sore this morning so I'm thinking about asking if I can WFH tomorrow then Thursday is my usual WFH day.
Mr M shop has just been delivered with no missing items or subs although the laundry liquid burst in the van so I've been refunded. On the minus side this means my first week of £100 spend for the £38 off has been scuppered as I was right on the wire at a few pence over £100. This week's delivery pass offer was £3 off juice so I spend £1 on some cranberry juice and got £3 off - bargain!
I'll have to take the dog on the park today as she only got as far as the garden yesterday with Mr SA not having his scooter. She played up a bit in the night so she really needs a proper run. I'm not aiming for any huge step count today just whatever from dog walking and pottering around the house. I have a live bums & tums class at lunchtime then resistance bands tonight, neither classes will put any pressure on my foot.
I'm going to try and give the kitchen and dining room a good clean later.
Tonight's dinner is a new recipe from one of my old WW cookbooks - Quorn & lentil cottage pie. It will use up the last of the puy lentils just about to go out of date.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
