Caught up with you at last! I'm sorry to hear about Mr SA's scooter - hopefully he'll get it back soon and stop driving you nuts!😫. Your island sounds lovely!
I saw the Spaghetti Bolognaise dish that Jamie made on his programme last week. It did look rather yum!😋Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Glad your island is better than you thought. Mr SA is branching out with spaghetti Bolognaise, I hope he enjoys it.How did your foot stand up to an Aldi trip?3

The island sounds great. I'm sure you'll soon wonder how you coped without it: they look so useful.
I wonder why Spaghetti Bolognese doesn't count as pasta, but somehow it comes into a category of its own. And while on that track, why isn't spaghetti randomly exchanged with other pasta in the same way we might use penne if there isn't any fusilli to hand?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. Happy Friday 🥳
Day off today, going into town to do a bit of shopping then meeting my old school friends for lunch. Looking forward to it. I’m going to set off early and have a look round Primani when it first opens then go for a coffee before having a wander round the other shops. I need a couple of make up bits and I must remember to check the bus times to the lunch destination. You’ll be pleased to hear Mr SA loved his spaghetti bolognese. His only complaint was that I gave him garlic bread with it and he would’ve preferred a baguette 😬 It wasn’t really following Jamie’s recipe just minced beef, onion, mushrooms, peppers and a handful of peas cooked in DD’s leftover bolognese sauce from the fridge. My foot was fine after the walk. I did 20,000 steps yesterday no problem. I did wear my loose fitting furry boots though that don’t touch the top of my foot. I think it’s where my trainers are tight across the top that have aggravated it.I still haven’t got my savings account sorted. I was in a queue for ages yesterday and gave up eventually. I’m cross with myself because I wrote the password down then couldn’t read my writing. Passwords drive me nuts 😖Mr SA wanted to store his beer in the new island cupboard. Told him absolutely not it’s for kitchen things. This is because I haven’t put anything in it yet - the plan is to store kitchen gadgets in there.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7 -

Caught up with your diary yesterday while waiting for Mr F who was in a v long queue in the cafe at Kings Lynn Sainso's.
Your island sounds v useful. I wouldn't have beer in there either.

Just tell him the beer needs to be stored in a cool place and it will be too warm in the kitchen island3

I’ve had a lovely afternoon with my friends. Enjoyed my trip into town this morning, unfortunately the bus back was running 20 minutes late so made it to the pub just in time. This is why I hate catching buses. One of my friends gave me a lift home thankfully. I walked into town and my foot has been fine. Treated myself to a cookbook stand from JL as seen in above photo. In other news I’ve hit 800 days streak on Duolingo so have 3 days free Duolingo plus. Also despite only spending £80 with Mr M have got my first stamp on the £38 off card. It claims I spent £100.02, no idea how they worked that out but I’m not complaining.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)7
