@Seasidegal58 I love my Christmas gift list app, it’s so helpful. My family think I’m crazy. 😂I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
I have very few Christmas presents to buy so I just keep a list on one of the many tabs on my budget spreadsheet. An app would've been brilliant years ago when I had more to buy.
The dentist/hygienist visits were fine, everything is good.
I managed to get through to Principality so I'm all sorted on that front now. The lady I spoke to was extremely helpful and stayed on the phone until I'd logged in successfully.
Mr SA has finally got his scooter back 🎉 He's just taken the dog out on it to test it out. Thank goodness for that! He needs to charge it up overnight but I've told him not between 5 and 6 when we're not using any electricity 😁

I made an appointment with my dentist for a checkup/clean, is it strange that I'm happy to get an appointment? They could easily have said no, you're no longer on our books for NHS dentistry, but I laboured the point that I had been unable to attend due to being very vulnerable due to a type of blood cancer. The receptionist said it had been nearly 4 years since my last appointment, but she would ask the dentist if he would allow me to continue. Thankfully he said yes! Which reminds me, I must alert them to my blood condition. It is not problematical, just that they need to be aware. What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?5

You were lucky @satchmo1 in that respect.

It sounds like a positive sort of day, @Sun_Addict. Did you manage to stop Mr SA from charging his scooter at the forbidden hour?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

@satchmo1 Mr SA is NHS and he didn't see his dentist for over 2 years thanks to Covid. Mine is private and carried on as normal.
@Cherryfudge yes I did although he was hovering at 5 minutes to 6!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Happy hump day 😊
WFH again today. I need to be in the office tomorrow so swapped my days around.
It should be NSD 5 of November as I don't have any plans to spend today.
Checked the bank this morning and sent an oddment to the Christmas pot. It now totals £601.27 so have hit my target 🎉 I've already bought a few bits that need clearing off the cc now the pot can be released so it will start to decrease rapidly.
Mr SA is having another stab at the bomber jacket pester and has now asked for one for Christmas so I've finally relented. I've seen some on the eBay shops, they have a good selection and a lot of them are padded. He keeps saying he doesn't have a decent coat and I have to keep reminding him of the expensive coat I bought him less than a year ago that is hanging up in the cupboard under the stairs hardly worn!
To do (other than work):
20 mins Spanish
Clean bathroom
Take the dog on the park
Zumba at 6pm
Tonight's dinner is something quick and simple - scampi with wedges and veg.

I bet he’s glad to be mobile again. I suspect the dog will be happy too.
Well done with the Christmas targets. Enjoy spending it.January spends - £587.582 -
Glad the scooter is back.🤣 that Mr SA tells you that he hasn't got a coat. I hope you find a suitable bomber jacket that is flattering (did you say you were worried about him looking like a character from Benidorm.)2
