I’m pleased you got a lift home after the scooter broke. I’m pleased he’s getting a smaller one…..hope it’s sturdy though and doesn’t tip easily.January spends - £587.583

Happy Friday!
There's more wrong with Mr SA's scooter than the snapped back axle and rear wheel so it's a bigger repair job. He'll be without a scooter for a few days, he's going stir crazy already.
Worked in the office this morning and just going to do another hour and a bit to make up my hours.
A low spends day just £2.50 for an on demand FitSteps class.
I've opened another regular saver account today that pays 5% interest. I need to do some shuffling about with savings accounts as I have two with low interest rates that need closing and using for the better paying accounts. I do need an easy access one though for emergencies so don't want to tie all the savings up. That's my next job to look for a decent-ish rate easy access one. I don't have large amounts of money to play around with unfortunately so am trying to make what I have work. I've never been fortunate enough to be left an inheritance and there are no prospects of that happening either.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Have you looked at Zopa for savings - I have a couple of accounts there for my sinking funds, and my boys have them for their savings account too - you can do no-notice, 1 week, 1 month or 3 months for easy access - and they have 1yr+ accounts too. Very easy to use - it's online or on your phone. We got them when Martin recommended them when they were the only ones paying above 1% but they've been going up and up with interest rate rises.

Zopa starts at 2.40% for no notice and 2.80% for 95 days with the others in between, and that was before the latest increase so they will likely go up again soon. 1 yr fixed is 4.25 but again that will increase soon.LD 12.25 £1600.00/£0700.00 Fn £274.00 LTFn £525 LLTFn £300

My son was telling me today that he does on average 20k steps a day and has an app that rewards him, called sweat steps. I immediately thought of you with your impressive step count. https://sweatco.in/
I haven't looked at how it worksWhat would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?4 -
