That's Wednesday done in a flash.
Worked in the office until just after lunch then finished the day from home. The dog got me up at 4.45 am wanting to go out, I usually get up at 5 or thereabouts so stayed up. I didn't look at the time I left the house so when I got to work it wasn't even 7 and the security barriers weren't open. There were loads of people waiting to get in, it was like first day of the Harrods sale! Queuing up to get into work, I need to get a life 😆
It was going to be a NSD but decided to go to Mr S to see if they had any wholemeal muffins in for my breakfasts, they were out of stock last time I went in there. Anyway they had some thankfully so not a wasted trip.
Exercise is walking to/from work and Mr S plus live Zumba at 6pm so will definitely be 25,000 steps plus by the end of the day.
Tonight's dinner is something simple and quick - scampi, wedges and veg. Mr SA is having, at his request, pie, chips and curry sauce. He'd overheard someone at the local shops talking about chips and curry sauce and has been pestering me for it ever since.
It's noticeably colder today and very windy. A few things in the garden have blown over.
On the money front, I've sent an oddment of £5.20 to the Christmas pot so that now holds £553.47.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
I’m smiling at chips and curry sauce….when we were down south at my dds in the summer. We were having fish and chips at the beach hut. Son in law had never had curry sauce on his chips…..turned his nose up big time. Dd was telling me last week he is now a convert and recommending it to his southern friends 😂😂😂😂January spends - £587.583

I recently tried what is supposed to be a Canadian National dish when in Canada called Poutine. It turned out to be cheesy chips with gravy which I personally found disgusting. Chips with curry sauce sounds more appetising.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards.
