I’m not good with air conditioning…I’d need a cardi ! It’s been a lot cooler in the far north today. Yesterday was baking, but you’ve definitely had it hotter. Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Morning all, happy Friday.
Was up with the dog at 2am! I don't know what she thought she heard but she had a really good patrol of the garden, she was out there for ages!
Another hot one today. I'm WFH and plan to finish at lunchtime as long as nothing urgent rears its head.
This time next week I'll be breaking up for my hols 😁
Step target for today is 15k, might go out for a walk when Mr SA gets up but for now I'm enjoying the peace and quiet.
Tonight's dinner is lightly dusted yellowfin sole with lots of veg. Mr SA is having fish, chips and mushy peas.
It should be NSD 4 today as we don't need anything.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -

Mr SA's blooming repeat prescription fiasco strikes again! The doctors told me to order his repeat prescriptions via the NHS app. I downloaded it for him and went on it to re-order in good time so his meds will be ready before we go on holiday. It said he doesn't have a repeat prescription set up! So, bearing in mind what the chemist told me last time about ordering in plenty of time, I rang them only for them to tell me I need to ring the doctors! This was all supposed to have been sorted out with the GP pharmacist last month. I'm so sick of this fiasco every month 🤬I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Your doctors makes ours look competent!2 -
I'm jealous of your air conditioning at work as my work place is a health hazard on a hot day!
Our surgery and chemist seem to compete as to who can be the most incompetent when it comes to repeat prescriptions 😡. My theory is that they're so busy they just can't cope which is why they drop the ball so often. It's very frustrating for you especially as you're going away.
I bet you can't wait to get away on holiday 😊.Finally Debt Free After 34 Years, But Still Need to Live Frugally
