Morning happy Sunday ☀️Just sitting having my breakfast while the hair colour I’ve put on does its thing. Black coffee and a slice of dry toast if anyone’s interested 😆 My breakfasts aren’t very exciting I’m afraid.I need to go to Aldi this morning when they open. I’m being careful how much fresh stuff I buy as the holiday is only a week away now and I don’t want to waste anything. It will clock a fair few steps up as it’s a good 20 minutes walk each way. After that the plan is to not do much else than sit in the sun with my book. Finished reading The Temptation of Gracie by Santa Montefiore, it was brilliant, I love her books. As I enjoyed the Jane Corry one so much I’ve picked another of hers from my bookshelves My Husband’s Wife, hoping this will be as good as the last one of hers I read.
Must go and rinse this colour off.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -

Nice successful shopping tooNevertheless she persisted.3 -
So the eBay seller has offered me £6 refund for the chair as it will cost too much to return 😡 He has suggested I get it fixed with the £6 😡 It was originally £24.95 but I had an eBay £5 off voucher so paid £19.95. I don’t think it’s fixable to be honest. You can see the metal has completely snapped.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Did you pay via PayPal, you could put in a dispute with them. If not report to EBay, goods have got to be fit for purpose this clearly wasn’t. Buyer trying to pull a fast one.3

@Sun_Addict - I would concur that your chair isn't fixable. Mr F had a similar one when we used to go camping regularly. It broke in the same place & wasn't the kind of metal which could be welded. My feeling is that if it wasn't up to the job of carrying the weight-load advertised, then the seller should refund your cost. Unless Mr SA sort of fell into it when he sat down, as I guess that would add additional pressure on the chair's joints.

I’ve requested a return via eBay and they’ve sent me a QR code for Royal Mail. However I don’t know if I now have to pay for the postage as it doesn’t say?I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2

Your skirt sounds lovely. Pleased you had a good day 👍
The chair doesn’t look for for purpose. 😡 if they advertise to take a certain weight they should.January spends - £587.582 -
My son sells quite a bit on eBay and he says the seller pays for the return postage if the item is faulty, damaged or item not as described. So the qr code should be prepaid.3

Made an absolutely delicious Nutty Sweet Potato and Lime Stew tonight. Used peanut protein powder instead of the peanut butter as I need to use it up. Halved the amount which made two portions, one for tonight and one for tomorrow’s lunch.
