That's Monday done! 4 more working days to go 😁

Today is NSD 5 for August.

I've been in the office today, it was quite busy and noisy. A colleague has given me a huge bag of homegrown spinach.

20k steps done and I'm going to do Joe Wicks workout of the week later called15 minute dumbbell hell 😆

Need to sort out something for tonight's dinner.

I have mentioned in the past that I have a half sister who I've never met. To cut a long story short, my dad disappeared when I was 14 and I never saw or heard from him again. I found out about my half sister via Genes Reunited. We are FB friends but she never comments on my posts or wishes me happy birthday or anything. On the odd occasions we have been in touch via messages her tone is always curt. She didn't even let me know my dad had passed away a couple of years ago. Anyway, I had a message from her this morning to ask if I could lend her some money!! What a blooming cheek! I haven't responded, partly because I'm in shock at her cheek and partly because it could be a hacker taken over her account. Words fail me.

Now you really know why they say you can choose your friends but you can't choose your family.  What a nerve!

Oh my goodness, that's a cheek isn't it, @Sun_Addict, asking you for a loan? I don't expect it is a hack, but whether it is or it isn't, I think the answer is the same......no, & it is inappropriate to ask! Or ignore it. If your relative never engages with anything you post, why would you be up for lending her money?

I’m wondering if it’s a hack. A friend of mine has had one form a relative asking for a loan. If it’s not a hack she is a cheeky whatnot and doesn’t deserve an answer.

I had an email from the bank warning me about this sort of hack from pretend relatives.

I re-read the message and it’s either a hacker or she’s sent a blanket message out to several people. My name isn’t mentioned in the opening greeting and she’s signed off using a shortened version of her name that she normally doesn’t use. Very suspicious. Whatever it is I’m ignoring it.

I decided on Mediterranean cod for dinner. I was just sitting down to eat it when Mr SA split a full glass of beer all over the floor, it went everywhere 😩
