Mr SA said he'd made a start on packing his suitcase which doesn't bode well as he's useless at packing and I usually help him. It's a good job I checked as he'd filled his suitcase with a huge holdall which revealed a rucksack inside containing bits of rubbish like empty tubes of bite cream and loose mints! I asked him why he'd packed said items and apparently he thought they might come in handy for shopping! Reminded him it's a hotel we won't be doing any shopping, it's going to be far too hot to shop anyway! Will now have to watch him with shoes as I noticed there are several pairs out. Total nightmare!I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

When you pack his suitcase I think you need to lock it and confiscate the key until you get to the hotel!😱Finally Debt Free! - July 2016 🌟

Well I made NSD 6. Might be the last one this month though.Mr SA got his prescription so the NHS app worked 🥳Fridge sort out and cupboard rummage has resulted in a tray bake for tonight’s dinner - roasted red pepper, red onion, courgette (home grown!) and chickpeas with a spice mix. Will have half tonight with a tuna steak and the other half for tomorrow’s lunch in a soft pitta.Did some weeding in the drive after work. Now going to clean the bathroom before I do FitSteps.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Perhaps you need to pack Mr SA's case and hide it somewhere, leaving an old case out for him to pack with whatever he thinks he needs. Don't produce the real thing till the last minute!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Afternoon all.
I've been working in the office today. Back home now. Just got tomorrow morning to do then I'm off for 16 days 😁
Having my eyebrows waxed and tinted later today, hairdressers tomorrow, DIL is doing my nails on Saturday.
Went to Lidl on the way home from work so not a NSD. I was tempted to buy a £1.50 fruit and veg box but realised I probably wouldn't be able to use it all up before Monday. I've now qualified for the free bakery item woo hoo 😆
I will have definitely gone over the grocery budget in this 4 week period as I've had to stock up on a boatload of cat/dog food to last until we get back from holiday. The younger cat can't half get through food, she eats more than the dog and older cat put together!
Tonight's dinner is pizza and salad which feels like a real treat on a Thursday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
16 days! How wonderful…I’m terribly jealous and hope you have an amazing time.
