That's Monday done. Have been in the office this morning then came home to finish my day.
All the deliveries I was expecting at the weekend arrived today. I'm really pleased with the little unit from Amazon (well via Amazon), it fits perfectly in the little gap next to my dressing table.
Finances for last week totted up and there was a £15 overspend in groceries which I was expecting as I had quite a bit to stock up on. The budget for the next 3 weeks has been reduced to absorb it so it will all even out over the month.
Monday is usually a NSD but I needed to pick up milk and bread, it can't wait until the Mr M delivery tomorrow.
Today's exercise is walking to/from work and a live strength class later. Should hit 20k steps today, not far off that now.
Veggie sausage and sweet potato traybake tonight. I'll make two portions and have one for lunch tomorrow. The tomato and basil soup for lunch today was delicious to say I didn't follow a recipe.
Mr SA has started up a pester for aqua shoes. Lidl are selling them this weekend, he's seen them in the brochure. I've told him they're for water sports which he doesn't do. He insists he needs them to wear around the pool on holiday which doesn't bode well as the last time he went into the pool on holiday he had to be rescued!

I can see how Mr SA's pestering for new gear drives you mad, @Sun_Addict, but that did make me smile. You see, I pestered & pestered for a pair of what would probably be called 'aqua shoes' now, back in the 1970s when I was about 8. My Mum didn't succumb so I tried pestering Grandma who was much more amenable & she bought me a pair. They were sort of black & rubbery. I wore them in the sea for paddling & the novelty lasted for all of one afternoon. I could feel all the pebbles under my feet & the water got in & felt weird. Then it was really difficult to get them off because they'd rubbed my feet quite badly. I left them in Grandma's summer house. Wasn't even bothered about taking them home! I'd completely forgotten about them until you mentioned Mr SA mithering for a pair of something similar! Funny what triggers memories coming back.

Morning, happy Tuesday.
WFH today. The painter is arriving at 8am so a bit of upheaval for a couple of days. Thankfully only the hall/stairs/landing.
Just waiting for the Mr M shop to be delivered. No missing items and one sub which I'm going to send back, no broccoli so they've subbed it for tenderstem broccoli, there's no way I'm paying £1.69 for broccoli as much as I like tenderstem!
I have a few frogs to tackle on my list that I keep putting off:
1. Ring the carpet man re stairs/landing carpet/flooring
2. Book a mobility scooter for Mr SA for Zante
3. Email hotel re room near reception, where we had one last time. Better for Mr SA as it's a very short walk to the bar/restaurant/main hotel/pool area.
4. Book airport lounge.
5. Sort out printer - I haven't used it for so long the printer heads need cleaning.
6. Stock take of cupboard items that need using up before they go out of date.
7. Stock take of freezer (again!)
8. Clear out the cupboard of doom in the dining room (again!)
9. Clear out the cupboard of doom under the stairs (again!)
10. Sort out holiday toiletries
11. Sort out huge pile of recipes cut out of magazines, am I really going to make them?
12. Ring charity shop to pick up some more stuff.
13. Declutter spare room, lots of stuff stashed in there from living room refurb, if it's not going back in the room it needs getting rid of!
14. Sort out wardrobe.
15. Sort out holiday clothes
I think that's plenty to be getting on with, no doubt there'll be more to add.
Have picked my first crop of raspberries this morning. There were loads tucked right underneath the bush I hadn't noticed.
Today's exercise 15k steps minimum, lunchtime FitTone class and evening resistance band class.
Making a veggie gumbo for tonight's dinner using up the last of the okra in the freezer.
