Ended up doing almost an hour over my core time at work today. I’m on flexi so will get it back. I have maybe foolishly been persuaded to lead a team, it’s voluntary but very busy and everyone wants to invite me to their meetings and wants my opinion/input on things. I’m also organising a week of learning events starting on Monday and having to promote them and manage attendees. Then I have my day job. Never boring though.

I never got around to Get Fit with Rick but I did manage NSD 1/10 🥳

Well I stayed up until midnight and it was worth it. Obviously Ukraine won but UK came a very respectable second, he was winning at one point but the public votes tipped it in Ukraine’s favour. I really liked the Czech Republic’s entry but it didn’t do very well which was a shame.

As rain is forecast for today, the plan is to get some housework done, take the dog on the park across the road and meal plan for next week. Full week at work next week, 3 in the office and 2 WFH.

I’m an accidental gardener to, I accidentally kills my plants 🤣🤣.
    The tree looks very pretty.
We had rain here earlier but it’s dry just now but a lot of dark clouds.
    Enjoy your gardening

NSD 2/10 for May, lots of catching up to do.

Just made a batch of spicy carrot, tomato and red lentil soup for next week’s work lunches, will do me 4 days.

The clouds are gathering here and there is a cool breeze developing so fingers crossed there is some rain on the way.

The gardens desperately need it, that's for sure.

We are not great gardeners either. It is definitely more luck than judgement if something lives in our garden  🤣🤣🤣
