Harlequin ladybirds are a non-native species, @Sun_Addict. Several years ago, people would report in when they found one so as to help track how far they were spreading in the UK. They are everywhere now. They apparently have voracious appetites so are very good at scoffing aphids, but they can also predate our native ladybirds, which is why there was concern about their arrival. We have both types in our garden.
Not such nice weather in our county this morning, showery here first thing, but supposed to pick up later.

Morning, happy Tuesday. Not a sunny one at the moment I’m afraid.
Gardening is top of my list for today’s jobs. Would’ve been better doing it yesterday in the sunshine but I needed to clean first.Saw two squirrels chasing each other on the lawn a few minutes ago, they stopped for a drink in the pond then ran up a tree.
My last day of leave today, back to the coalface tomorrow although working from home. Mr SA has his biopsy tomorrow morning so must book the taxi. I’ve had a letter telling me it’s time to book my smear test, I hate having them done.Still need to look at finances. No sign of my first NSD for May yet, possibly Friday as WFH again.
Also need to get back to meal planning. Mr M delivery coming this afternoon, one sub - grapes for grapes, can’t moan about that 😆Exercise will be dog walking, live bums and tums at lunchtime and resistance band training later.Need to let the builder know which flooring I want. Can’t believe work is starting in less than 2 weeks. It will be an upheaval but only for a week and will be worth it when it’s done.I really struggle to come back down to earth again after a holiday.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Welcome back to Blighty @Sun_Addict! Do you think 2 holidays a year is about right? Given everything you have to contend with, I think permanent hols are justified love Humdinger xx4

Yesterday sounds amazingly productive! Well done!
Re your daughter cleaning, I think people literally see things differently. It can be simple (as in, taller people see the tops of things!) or complex (I grew up in a visually complex house so I screen out visual clutter though it might well still affect me - DH grew up in a visually simple house and sees things I screen out, but doesn't see the dusting needs to be done).
Official litter-picker?If you get fed up of working from home, you now have another excuse for some personal time away from it!
I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

Not long after my post the sun came out so have been gardening. Still lots to do though,I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

The sun came out here whilst I was litter picking on the sand dunes this morning. It's a monthly litter pick and a great workout.
I also litter pick along a nearby pedestrian area. It infuriates me that folk can be bothered to carry a takeaway coffee whilst it has coffee in it, but then drop the lidded cup just yards from a bin!!!What would you get if all you got was what you were thankful for?4 -
It seems to be a thing round here that you get at the beginning of a motorway slip road & then dump all your coffee cups & take away wrappers on the side of the road! I've even seen the odd full bin liner. Some people are disgusting.
