Safe journey home. It has been lovely seeing all your pictures, makes me want to go.3

We landed early, just after 3.30, very smooth quick flight, we had a tail wind, always a bonus.Walking across the runway at the airport, following Mr SA being wheeled by special assistance across the tarmac, we were treated to two unusual sights, the first one a man being arrested by airport police, I could see a clear bag with what looked like weapons in it 😱 Then the special assistance lady pointed to a huge aircraft just landed and said we were very privileged to see Ukraine’s only remaining Antonov cargo plane after the other one (the world’s biggest cargo plane) was destroyed by Russia. It was gigantic. I wonder what they were picking up? Hark at me sounding like a plane spotter after the Lanzarote airport plane spotting 🤣DD had to bring the dog out in the drive when we arrived in the taxi, she was so excited she kept weeing. The cats are pleased to see us to, just not as excited as the dog 😆 I think DD is glad to be free of the pet sitting duties.
Already done two loads of washing. Thankfully the weather is quite warm and dry. The garden is a jungle and seems to be a mass of bluebells, white bells and that blooming garlic mustard plant.
Enjoyed a long soak in the bath. The dog was sitting watching me.
Thankfully I’m off work tomorrow and Tuesday, lots of gardening, cleaning, finances and dog walking to do.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
A day off tomorrow & Tues will be just what you need to get caught up at home. Glad you enjoyed your holiday. Nice to see the photos, esp all those plants/cacti sitting on the steps.....which made me wish we had some outdoor steps!

Happy Monday, nice sunny day out there.
Had to let the dog out at 4.30 this morning, it was almost light already. Should’ve stayed up as had a really weird dream about Mr SA letting the dog run off, me chasing her all over a busy street and him not concerned and only interested in which footwear to take to Zante 🤣🤣 Some truth in that dream there!I have so much to do today and tomorrow. The house needs a good clean, DD has kept it tidy and basically clean but it has a bit of a stale-ish smell. The patio doors are open to let some fresh air in, that’s a start. Loads of washing to do. Going to try and fit a quick garden tidy up while the weather is good. I need to nip to the shop for a few bits to tide us over until tomorrow’s Mr M delivery.Best get cracking.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5
