Happy Saturday 🥂

Still pitch black here. 

Today is the last day of the holiday sadly 🥲 Looking forward to seeing the dog and cats again though. We’ve had a lovely time, the weather has been fantastic. Will have to set the alarm for tomorrow as we’re being picked up at 9am and I’ve not been getting up until 8. 

Still need to get some sweets for the GKs. We’ve done really well with the spending money to say we’ve not exactly scrimped. Still have over €200 left. It’s very cheap here so you could spend very little if you needed to. Any remaining money will be rolled over to Zante. 

I want to have a nice relaxing day today, will have a wander around the old town and harbour this morning then sunbathe after lunch. Tonight’s plan is to go to a beachfront restaurant where they have a saxophonist doing a sunset session.

Have been for a stroll around the harbour this morning will shortly be going for lunch. I don’t know whether I slept funny but my neck/top of shoulder is stiff and painful, hope that wears off soon. 

The hotel is getting really busy, lots of young couples, some with babies. I don’t know how they can afford it, it’s not a cheap hotel. When we first got here there was no problem finding a sun bed but struggling now and people are very annoyingly reserving them first thing then not using until later. 

The weather is hotter than ever today, there’s another calima on its way from the Sahara apparently. Glad we’ll miss that as it brings hairdryer winds and blows sand everywhere.

You sound like you've had a relaxing time and really enjoyed yourself after such a long period since you were last away.

Just finishing the last of the packing, we are being picked up in just over an hour, flight is at 12. Looking forward to seeing the dog and cats, having a long soak in the bath and putting my feet up tonight.
