One night a couple of years ago I decided to tackle a second one. Halfway through I realised this was not a good idea and had to abandon it. Couldn’t get the key in the lock of the room later, took ages 🤣🤣 On the plus side it’s a cheap night as you only need one 😆I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Downside of being on the ground floor, I’ve re-homed 4 blooming cockroaches since we got here. I think they’re coming in through a gap in the front door that leads onto the street. Fortunately here they are quite small and flimsy not the huge things you get in the Balearics. A sweeping brush soon gets rid and they are evicted to become next door’s cockroaches not my problem 🤣I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

They’re quite small and flimsy and very obviously scared. The ones in the Balearics are huge and definitely not afraid of humans. On a trip to Ibiza once a waiter spotted one perching on my handbag and it took him ages to get rid of it.
