What a day at work, absolutely manic. Logged on at 7am and logged off just after 5pm. My only break was the hospital visit which I took as my lunch break. Still haven’t cleared all my emails but managed to deal with the most important ones. After work I did the live WW FitSteps session, it was a Eurovision special and it was such fun, really enjoyed it and felt so much better for it. Well worth the £6.95 a month I pay as a Gold member for all the fitness classes alone.I’m shattered tonight so will shortly be off to bed. Early start tomorrow, going to do the first hour from home then make my way to the new office for my induction. Aiming to WFH in the afternoon as I have two meetings.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4

Another manic day. Did the first hour at home, then walked to the new building where I had my induction. The new building is amazing, I love it! The views from the top floor are fantastic. After the induction I worked from the on site coffee shop for the first hour 😆 The coffee shop is lovely although the drinks are a bit pricey to say it's a work canteen. Then I went to see if I could find any of my colleagues on our designated floor. I hate lifts so I walked up 12 flights of stairs to the 6th floor, was starting to feel it in my legs at floor 4 but carried on. There are loads of different work spaces to use depending on task, from comfy chairs to traditional desks. I did an hour at a proper desk then walked back home to carry on my working day from there.
I'm WFH tomorrow but actually looking forward to going back to that nice brand new office on Monday.
Stopped off at Lidl on the way home and picked up a few things. Bought some more compost, an orange tree and some fuchsias.
The weather has been nice today so it was a very pleasant walk to and from work. I think my exercise for today box is well and truly ticked after 20,000 steps and all those stairs 😆
Hopefully will finally get the first NSD of May in the bag tomorrow.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
I hate lifts too, @Sun_Addict. Can't bear being closed in. I always use the stairs even if I'm puffing like mad by the time In reach the top. How nice to have a nice new work building.

The kitten came trotting down the garden with something in her mouth looking very pleased with herself. When I opened the door she ran under a bush with it. I thought oh no what’s she caught - turned out to be just a large feather 🤣 So far she’s only managed to catch and eat 🤢 flies.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3

Happy Friday 😁
WFH today, hopefully won't be another long day, I'm shattered. Determined to finally clear my inbox today.
Should finally be NSD 1/10 for May, no plans to spend anything. This month is a very spendy one what with the holiday, stocking back up with food after the holiday, DGS's birthday and now the living room refurb being thrown into the mix.
Today's exercise will be dog walking at lunchtime and Get Fit with Rick's latest walking workout, as long as I hit my 15k target steps I'll be happy. Meal planning has been all over the place this week so need to get back into it, still got my holiday head on.
Best make a start...I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3
