Forgot to say we watched the Spend Less programme on catch up yesterday. They compared shavers. Mr SA is now hassling me to death for a new shaver. Originally he said he wanted one for Christmas. Now apparently he can't wait that long!

18 years since I lost my mum today :( Still miss her after all this time :()

:grouphug: I still miss my mum and dad - the pain never really goes away when you've had lovely, caring parents.

Good news on your pay - but don't tell Mr SA that you got more than you expected - he'll want to buy shavers!:)

What can you do though Beanie, she's only 8, if she'd been older I would've refused to have it done. A few years ago the vet said my old boy cat had a tumour in his stomach, said they could remove it for £1k. I refused, he was 15 at the time, said he was too old to mess about with. He was 21 when he died.

  • Wow SA, im not surprised you needed a lie down!!! Where your pets are concerned though you pay it don't you! We spent thousands when our dog was unwell, luckily we could claim most of it back but I remember thinking at the time id pay it if I wasn't insured.

Hope youve enjoyed having the DGS over today xx

Interrupted by Mr SA shuffling in again.

    Happy September folks :)

Braved WW this morning, only put 2lb on so not too bad, only 1lb over goal. Need to get back on plan now though.

DS brought the GKs this morning and we took them on the park across the road which they loved. However it was total chaos - DGS was running all over, the dog was completely out of control and somehow Mr SA managed to tip his scooter over and ended up underneath it!!!! DS rescued him thankfully. Mr SA is now claiming he has concussion, saying he banged his head. Honestly he's getting to the stage when he's not safe to let out.

DS GF had her hair done at my hairdressers at the end of our road and it looked lovely, she was super pleased with it. They are brilliant to be honest and my hair has been much better behaved since I started going there.

Anyway when they all left, Mr SA went for a nap and I put my feet up in the garden instead of cleaning up like I was supposed to. The sun was so hot though it was a crime to go indoors and I was exhausted by Mr SA, the dog and the GKs.

Hey ho I'll clean up tomorrow.

Eeek to Mr SA ending up under the scooter though! Thank goodness DS was there and you weren’t on your own with him .

2lb gain is nothing! Well done Xx

Don't blame you for putting your feet up in the garden - take as much advantage of the sun while you can.
