We spent our honeymoon on Ibiza 36 years ago but not been back since. Mainly because our local airport does not fly there and we cant face the 5 hour drive to Gatwick. Good luck for brain scan for Mr SA today. Reducing alcohol intake sounds sensible as does limiting weight gain but can understand why he resists that. Well done on only using card once over the holiday.

It is important that we know where we come from, because if you do not know where you come from, then you do not know where you are, and if you don't know where you are, then you don't know where you are going. If you don't know where you're going, you're probably going wrong.

Good news folks - he got the all clear again :) Consultant appointments are now reduced to once a year and no more brain scans unless there is any cause for concern :)

    Such a relief :)

The incontinence is down to the part of his brain that's damaged unfortunately. The consultant showed us the damaged areas on the scan, it's a frightening large area that's scarred - all over the top and both sides at the front.

We went for a celebratory lunch at our local. He slept all afternoon - the scan always wipes him out. I've been sat in the sun.
