My sympathies for the loss of your friend, @Sun_Addict. I lost one of my best friends to an unexpected death 5 years ago. She was only in her early 50s & you are right that death at that age just seems wrong on every level.

Thank you all. She went through so much over the past few years with the cancer, then almost losing her life on holiday, I guess her body just couldn’t fight any more.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Not doing a lot today, my eyes are still sore and puffy and I don’t feel 100%.I need to go to Mr T then Wilko in search of cat litter. Also need a few other bits but not much. Both shops are a fair distance away so will get some steps in. Mr SA and the dog will come too so the dog will get a good walk.Also need to do loads of laundry and general cleaning/tidying. The weather is dry and sunny so hopefully will get the washing dry outside.Tonight’s dinner is veggie burger, wedges and salad. Rose cava in the fridge chilling.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)3 -
I’m so sorry about your friend. It really seemed like her time was up, no matter what, but she fought such a brave fight.I laughed at the covid test people trying to entice you in, it made me think of the chitty chitty bang bang child collector with a giant net on a pole…or possibly the adult equivalent of ‘do you want to see some puppies’ 🤣 You did right to rush on home, no good can come of that 😁

@Sun_Addict so sorry to hear about your friend. It might be too early and I'm sure you've thought of this, but is there something positive you could do? Make a donation; do a sponsored walk? Not sure what your spiritual views may be but I often find myself sensing loved ones once I'm over the initial shock. It isn't fair. As ever, you are a shining light to us all. Love Humdinger xx4
