Humdinger1 said:@Sun_Addict so sorry to hear about your friend. It might be too early and I'm sure you've thought of this, but is there something positive you could do? Make a donation; do a sponsored walk? Not sure what your spiritual views may be but I often find myself sensing loved ones once I'm over the initial shock. It isn't fair. As ever, you are a shining light to us all. Love Humdinger xxIt’s strange you should mention the sense thing as I randomly thought of her twice yesterday before I got the sad message. A car pulled up when I was walking home and I thought it was her, she often used to pull over and offer me a lift.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

We have cat litter 🥳 Wood pellets just like I wanted. Bought 2 bags while it’s in stock.Managed to rip myself off in Mr T, picked up 2 of those candle lighter clickers, it said £1 each so got 2. When I looked at the receipt they were actually £3 each because I’d picked up the more expensive branded ones by mistake. Oh well maybe they’ll last longer than the cheap ones or at least be refillable.I still don’t feel great, aching and my legs feel like jelly. I’ll do a Covid test if I still feel like it tomorrow just to be on the safe side.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

I think it's worth you doing a Covid test, @Sun_Addict. It may just be that you just need a rest - you're always dashing around - or your body's fighting off some other bit of a lergy. Even Mr F had a cold last week & he hadn't had one for 20 years! Better to know though, I always think.

I feel somewhat better tonight thank goodness, my eyes feel and look better too.Forgot to say that I found out yesterday one of the jobs on promotion I was interviewed for is being re-advertised as no one was successful. It was suggested to me by someone from that area that I re-apply when it comes out again.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Just catching up and I'm very sorry to hear about your friend. I too lost a friend /colleague very suddenly a few months ago... there's the feeling that we should have had years of friendship ahead of us.
I hope your work can find a cause to support in memory of her.I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
