It is strange how some people don't get it.
I did a test again last night. My taste was super strong again yesterday. It came back negative but today I have developed a cough again. Will test again before I go to work tomorrow.
In theory it would be too early for us to catch it again after our infection at the end of January but the symptoms are very similar apart from not feeling so rough!3 -
Very sorry to read about your friend SA.
Hope you have a good week and can decide what you want to do about re-applying.3 -
That's Monday done. Went into the office for 6 hours then finished off my day at home.
LFT was negative this morning so all safe to be unleashed on the world 😆
Today may or may not be NSD 3/12 depending on whether I buy a drink tonight at the 'friends of' the park meeting - it's in a pub, will I be able to resist.
Finances checked and some money shuffling done. £100 has gone to the EF. A couple of oddments have gone to the Christmas pot. Mr SA has received a £60 refund for his Motability scooter insurance.
Doing a WW live HIIT class later then it's the park meeting. Could do without the meeting to be honest but it's only an hour long and it's the first meeting so want to see what's what.
Job application wise, it will be a while before it's re-advertised so can consider it in due course.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
Don’t resist you don’t get out often……enjoy a drink at the meeting 👍January spends - £587.583

Just caught up on your dairy and I am so sorry to hear about your friend 😟
Im also wondering if you have maybe had Covid but were asymptomatic so weren't aware of it. I know quite a few people who tested positive but had no symptoms at all 🤷♀️Original Debt Owed Jan 18 = £17,630 Paid To Date = £6,510 Owed = £11,1203 -
Happy Tuesday and thank goodness I'm WFH today.
I didn't get back home until 8.30 last night, it was a good meeting though, there were only 6 of us turned up but two of those were local councillors so useful to have them on board. I did cave in and have a glass of wine as everyone else had a drink it would be rude not to, so £3.65 spent.
I am quite tired this morning though, yesterday was so hectic. I woke up at 5.30 to go to the loo then got back in bed only to remember I had a Mr M delivery coming at 6.30 so had to get up. Another week with no missing items or subs woo hoo 😁
The kitten has spent the past two nights in the spare room which has been much better. She has everything she needs in there - food/water/cat litter/bed/toys. She needs to get the picture that we sleep at night not run around the house! She's booked in for spaying this time next week so I'm hoping she'll start to calm down a bit after that. She'll also be a year old next month and no longer a kitten.
I still don't know what to do about Friday, the way I feel at the moment I'd just like a day to do nothing, although the downside is I'll have to spend the day with Mr SA. However, I've booked the following Friday off too as I'm going to my work friend's house.
Apart from work today it's my live WW bums and tums at lunchtime and the live resistance band training after work. Also need to fit in a dog walk at some stage. The washer is on as it's another lovely sunny day. I've given up all hope of ever seeing the bottom of the laundry basket.
Quite a while ago I had some donations collected by a local charity shop and signed up for Gift Aid. It was nice to get an email from them yesterday to say they had raised £70 from my donations. I've got some more stuff to sort out for them so need to give them a ring to pick it up.

I’ve managed to get a good fixed deal on the mortgage and additional borrowing and will actually be paying slightly less interest a month 🥳 The mortgage is now fixed for 5 years that will see it through to the end. The additional borrowing is fixed for 2 years which will be the end of that one. I’ve been overpaying the latter so the repayment has decreased substantially so will carry on to try and reduce the term. I’ll then start overpaying the mortgage.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6

Brilliant news about the mortgage. Won't be long before it is all paid off
Must be fantastic knowing that your rates are fixed for the whole term now?2
