Thank you for all the lovely comments about the job. I wasn’t ready, my original plan was to prepare thoroughly before applying for anything but I was encouraged to apply for both of the roles and thought it was worth a try. I wasn’t expecting to get to interview stage. I’m not going to apply for anything until I have some solid answers to potential questions. A colleague who’s just got promotion has been preparing and trying for some time, you need to put the work in first so you’re ready. I could just potter about at the grade I am now until I retire, I have friends who are happy to stay at the grade below me, but I want to give it one last try. 

Not been out to check for storm damage yet, fingers crossed nothing too bad🤞 

Not the best start to the day, the dog was desperate to go out and I didn’t make it downstairs in time so she pooped in the kitchen. The cats were smelling it and then looking at me as if expecting a reaction. Got back upstairs to find Mr SA had dropped his urinal in the bedroom and it had gone everywhere 😩 So my Saturday has started with cleaning and mopping. Thank goodness for hard flooring. 

I need to go to Mr T today for a few things. The cats are running out of food for a start. DS and the GKs are visiting later. 

Pizza and Prosecco tonight 😋

Sorry to hear about the morning accidents, as you say thank goodness for hard floors.

Aren’t cats mean 🤣 They have their litter trays on hand (and still pee in corners ..boy cats - grrr), but want to blame the dog. I never tell dog off for accidents as they are my fault for either being too slow or not spotting the signs. Luckily they are very rare. If she has a desperate moment she will always tell us, it’s just when you have to wake up it must be so frustrating for them.

Yes I remembered them 😆 The GKs expect them every time they visit now so better not disappoint them.

Good job I didn’t start cooking the sausage rolls as they’ve decided not to come because of the weather. It’s not great here and they live 20 miles further north so usually worse their end. It’s been absolutely throwing it down but the sun is trying to come out now. Need to take the dog out before it rains again.
