Morning, happy Wednesday.

Back to work (from home) today, day of fun and frivolities over.

Need to catch up on some admin work wise. 

Today's to do list:

• Look at finances
• Book the kitten in at the vet for spaying
• Chase up Mr SA's prescription again if it doesn't arrive today
• Catch up on cleaning/ironing
• Spanish
• Exercise is lunchtime dog walking, WW live Dance Fit at 6pm and a short stretching session. Must do 16k steps

The kitten was sleeping on the bed at the side of me last night. Amazed the dog allowed this! 

Today will be NSD 5/12, really need to catch up now but target still doable.

I had a call earlier from someone in my previous business area asking if I’d consider going back. Unfortunately on a level move rather than on promotion. I explained that as much as I miss my previous area, I’m looking for promotion. They will hold the job open for a while before advertising. Tempting if I don’t get the promotion as it would be a good development move. Nice to feel wanted though 😊

Morning, happy Thursday, nearly Friday.

Hoping for the quiet admin work day I didn't get yesterday. 

Did a quick cardio boxing session followed by a stretch first thing. Will be walking to Lidl at lunchtime so getting plenty of steps in but will be a spending day.

It's a lovely sunny day here at the moment but very windy. Brilliant that the days are getting longer with the lighter mornings and nights, feels like spring is around the corner.

Need to try and crack on with some cleaning, I've got really behind with it just lately, just doing the basics because I've been so busy. 

10 weeks today we'll be going to Lanzarote. The holiday balance is coming out of the bank today so the holiday pot will  decrease substantially. I can't wait to go, I really need a proper break away from it all. Mr SA is still a pain on holiday but I can relax in the sun, no cleaning or cooking to do, bliss.

Hope you hear something from last interview soon, I'm used to jobs where you hear very quickly, either on the day or the next day so would find the waiting very hard. Lovely compliment though to be head hunted for a role.

Recruitment takes ages where I work. They have to interview the applicants, then the panel have to meet to decide on scoring/agree a successful applicant, then it has to be uploaded to the system by someone else, where an automated email goes out to unsuccessful/successful applicants. The role I'm in now I was the last one to be interviewed and had already held them up by being on holiday on the original interview date. On that occasion they rang me up about an hour after the interview to offer me the role before it was done officially. 

I have a gut feeling I haven't got this latest role, I think I fluffed the interview on one of the questions. I need to have a good think about taking the level transfer role as my main aim is to get promotion. I need to know they will support me and understand that's my plan.
