foxgloves said:I think Mr SA loves new stuff. @Sun_Addict, I know you've had a spendy past life like me....... was Mr SA the same then, with wanting new gear, new stuff all the time?! Love how the current slippers trailed mud indoors, but new ones wouldn't!

Do you have a microwave? Anything that is out defrosting here is hidden in the microwave ever since the bowl of frozen prawns disappeared many moons ago (cat ice cream?).5

You have one very naughty kitten there 😃4

I bet when your kitten looks in the mirror she sees at least a tiger staring back.
I'd use the oven as the cat safe.
I use it in better weather when the doors are open and flying wildlife comes buzzing round.4 -

We also use the microwave…the door has to be clicked shut firmly after the remains of a cooked chicken breast was found (by the dog) on the floor and promptly cleaned up.Not all who wander are lost - J.R.R.Tolkien

Happy Sunday 😊
Should’ve been a NSD today but Mr SA insisted on going out to get me a card and flowers for Valentines. We went to the big Mr T and took the dog so got my steps in and the dog got a good walk. He wanted to go to the local flower shop but at an average price of £40 a bouquet I put my foot down. I’m all for supporting local businesses but not when they charge extortionate amounts 😠
The weather is overcast and showery here. I think pretty much the whole of the UK is the same according to the forecast.I’ve done the meal plan for next week and will be making a couple of recipes from my new WW book plus a smoky borlotti bean soup from an old WW book for my lunches.Today: veggie lasagne from an old WW book and salad. Will make 4 portions and freeze the rest.
Monday: veggie gumbo from the new WW book, will use up some of the okra lurking in the freezer.
Tuesday: home made gnocchi bake from the freezer. I’m out all day with friends so don’t want to be faffing about. Yes I have a day off work to shop and lunch 🥳
Wednesday: stir fry.
Thursday: harissa orzo bake, an old favourite recipe.Friday: lightly dusted lemon sole and veg.
Saturday: pizza night.
Sunday: cod with lemon caper sauce from the new WW book, will use up some capers lurking in the fridge.I’m watching another WW live cook along at 6pm via the app.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5 -
Next door brought round a huge bunch of flowers last night. The other half said that's saved him a job he doesn't need to go and get any now 🤣🤣🤣
Your meal plan sounds great 👍4
