    Received our water rates this week, pay monthly and have gone up by 50p a month, that’s all. Don’t think we will be as lucky with the council tax. Should receive this bill soon.xx

    If I can remember rightly I think this is the first time our water rates have gone up for a couple of years.

    @badmemory. Well said! We don't even have separate water rates in Scotland.  It all goes in with the council tax and there is only one water authority -Scottish Water- who seem to do a decent job. I used to do surveys for them and most people were pretty happy with them. Decent clean water is a basic human right.

    SA it sounds like your kitten comes from the same bad cat school as my two, we can’t leave anything edible out or they’ll steal it. Old Cat loves scrambled eggs and croissants are another favourite!
