DD bought the surgery suit and is struggling to get Am@zon to take it back. She says it states non-refundable.
I'll have a look at the eb@y cat jumpers so thanks for the suggestions. I've also seen some soft neck collars that look pretty decent.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
I was so tired when I finished work today I could’ve had my bath and got straight in bed. Thankfully I livened up after doing the live Dance Fit class on the WW app. It won’t be a late one though, although I don’t do late nights unless I’m on holiday, I get up too early 😆
Made a big batch of Quorn chilli tonight, had some with sweet potato wedges and will freeze the rest.
Normal service is finally resumed after being in interview mode for so long, it’s so stressful. We are having to go back into the office week commencing 28 February for our contracted 3 days a week office, 2 days WFH. Mixed feelings about it to be honest. It’ll take some getting used to again but it’s got to be done.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
SA I have done 2 days in work this week through choice but must say have enjoyed the interaction now things are a bit easier . I am sure you will get into it again very quickly or maybe not . If you get the new job would you still be contracted to go in ?Life is an adventure, never stop exploring.4

Are you taking bets on how long you are back in the office before someone gets the virus & they change their minds?

I don’t think they will go back on their decision now. They’ve removed all social distancing and mask rules and it’s back to normal.badmemory said:Are you taking bets on how long you are back in the office before someone gets the virus & they change their minds?I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
That's quite scary. In my sector (care) with fully vaccinated staff and clients, it's still 100% masks, and if working closely, apron, gloves and ideally eye protection. It seems to have worked because no one has caught covid through work though several have caught it elsewhere. However, in a close team social distancing gets forgotten some of the time and we've still not had an outbreak... it seems so random who actually catches it, and who of those who catch it get ill.Sun_Addict said:

That said, DH reckons that the most likely route of infection is still children. Almost all the people he knows who are now isolating caught it through youngsters!I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
The sun's been out and I think I’m solar powered (Onebrokelady)

All the people I know with Covid at the moment have caught it from their children or teacher spouses.Cherryfudge said:

I’m a bit apprehensive because, as far as I know, I’ve managed to dodge Covid, mainly because I haven’t been out and about that much. I suspect Mr SA and I had it in December 2019 before it was officially a thing but nothing since. I won’t be too happy if after a few days at work I catch it.They will still be doing the regular desk and high touch point cleaning but apart from that it’s as you were pre Covid.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)6 -
Morning all, happy Thursday.I slept like a log last night and didn’t wake up until after 6. Made up for the last couple of nights with broken sleep.
Got a busy work day of back to back meetings, will just about scrape a lunch break together.Hoping for NSD 5/12. I usually go to Lidl on Thursdays but don’t desperately need anything and don’t really have time to go. Trying to stretch out the Lidl shop until Saturday.I’m at a WW live cook along at 6. Exercise will just be walking as and when I can fit it in.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)4 -
It won't matter from later this month. There will be no need to isolate when you get Covid. It will be back to business as usual.badmemory said:Are you taking bets on how long you are back in the office before someone gets the virus & they change their minds?3
