The dog is a crafty devil. She knows what time I have a bath (I am that predictable 😆) and was waiting upstairs for me, her ball already sneaked into the bathroom ready for her to throw in my bath the minute I got in. This is something very annoying she does and spoils what should be a relaxing time. I managed to hide it before she came in thankfully. However I used a bath ball from a Christmas present in the bath and she seemed to think this was her ball getting smaller by the minute. Cue lots of crying and jumping up at the bath, so ended up not being that relaxing after all.

You need to sneak upstairs and not let the dog see you so you can have a bath in peace.

She knows and is up there before I am. No getting away with it 😆At least she’s no longer agile enough to jump in it while I’m in it as she’s done several times before. Sharing a bath with a dog is not the most relaxing thing.

Morning, happy Friday eve 😊

I've got a chap coming to measure up for the new blind this morning, hopefully earlier rather than later as I need to go to Lidl at some stage. Must have a quick tidy round before he gets here.

Today's to do:

• Spanish
• Lidl shop
• Cleaning - living room and hallway
• Get a portion of veggie lasagne out of the freezer and have this with salad tonight
• Exercise will mainly be walking today

I started my new book this morning, got one of the bookshelves that's been there for years Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn. I haven't seen the film, don't know why I've kept putting off reading the book. I'm on a mission this year to read the books that have been on the shelves for ages. I keep a spreadsheet of all the books I've got to read and started putting the date I bought/acquired them on it so I know the undated ones have been there the longest. I also have tabs on this spreadsheet for listing the books I've read with a brief synopsis and scores out of 10. I do love a good list 😄

I enjoyed Gone Girl too. You are much better than me with your list…I just put title, author, (r) if it’s a re-read and a * if it’s excellent. There aren’t too many stars as I enjoy lots of books, but only rate a star if I live and breathe them and want to read them again straight away or am desperately waiting for the next to be written 😁

My scoring system is 0-10. I very rarely re-read books as once I've read them I pass them on to friends or the charity shop. I don't think any book has been that dire it's been scored 0 and for it to be a 10 it has to one I really can't put down.

The blinds man has been and I was very pleasantly surprised at the price for such a large blind and lovely fabric £150. I was expecting around £200. I've gone for a light grey with a sort of twig pattern. It's booked in to be fitted in 3 weeks time.

Went to Lidl at lunchtime, didn't get any 20p bargains today but picked up the XL meat offers for Mr SA. These have been portioned up and are in the outside freezer. Should last him a good 2 months. Mr SA came to meet me with the dog so she got a good walk.

It started to snow the minute we got back home. It hasn't settled and has turned to rain. Absolutely freezing cold though.
